"I did not think it was possible all the bad experiences had at this court until we found ourselves in it. The reviews here are accurate, most especially at the clerks office. They have extremely poor attitudes, won't look you in the eye and generally don't care about your case at all whatsoever. We were bounced around to different buildings in the area, and were told by the clerk they don't file the paperwork we needed, but somehow magically after a 2 day fight and being transferred everywhere in the area but there, we ended up at the same clerk filing the paperwork. If you hate kids so much and don't care about their safety and well being, get the H*** out of the court system, you don't belong there."
"This courthouse as a whole is an embarrassment. They have absolutely no interest in your children or there wellbeing. It is all about Money Money Money. Never forget that. This courthouse never takes a professionals advice into consideration. It basically comes down to who is the mother and that is it. The ladies behind the desk seem to have tons of opinions to give you while taking there sweet time to assist you. This courthouse will make rulings on children they have never even met and do everything in its power to ostracize the father and family. My magistrate was embarrassment Bell, that not only ignored the GAL, then tried to falsify facts to the case using sophistry. She did not take things as they were said, but tries to embellish and change them. Embarrassment Bell will live up to her title right from them bat. She is a stain for everyone else that works on the bench and actually tires to do the right thing. It is extremely horrifying Embarrassment Bell has that kind of power over your children lives. Embarrassment Bell said it was better for children to be in daycare and not with the fathers family. This is how biased this court is. If you are a father you are already worthless in the eyes of the court, regardless of GAL or other witnesses. On that side note, my GAL was Leah Stevenson. I would skip using her for anything. She did not represent the rights of my child or the best his best interests. The fact she was dropped in her entirety shows that the court does not respect her opinions, knowledge, or work at all. You are better off finding someone that might be heard. Leah didn't amount to anything and was 100% omitted when embarrassment Bell made the final determination. That wasn't entirely Leahs fault, she backed the father and that was the mistake. My case number is 2019 CV 00976 Just in case you think I'm joking."
"This is an absolute joke of a courthouse. They will not have your children's best interests in mind. Only how they can try and profit as much as they can from you or help the lawyers they like. If you end up going through this shame, one of the few things you can do it file a grievance. I expect when enough of these hits the disciplinary committee, they will force them to do what is actually best for you child."
"The 1st filing for visitation schedule was filed in May of 2019. The Mother moved without forwarding address so the documents were undeliverable. Once she was able to be tracked down another order was served and returned again in September 2019 because she ignored it. The only updates that the Father was able to get was school grades and welfare checks. It is now mid-April after a court hearing in February and in April; still no visitation for the Father of a little girl who absolutely loves him so much. The Mother can ignore the orders and evade to put this off even longer. Lake County Juvenile Court l thought you were about keeping families together with parents; please do better this is absolutely heartbreaking to see a Father who pays a very high child support but he has been completely forgotten both child and Father."
