"I love taking our dog in to get toys here! Most have been very good quality and last! We shop here about every 2 months. The past two times we went in we’ve had issues. The first time, the lady pushed us for a email / phone number multiple times. Most recently, a different lady was pushy, “helping” us shop for a dog toy, handing me toys, etc. We won’t shop at a lot of the clothing stores here because of the pushiness but I REALLY don’t need help choosing a dog toy unless I ask."

Their positivity and energy made the info even more engaging. The store and training equipment further enhanced the experience. They "hooked" us - we signed up for the follow-on course, entitled, Fly Fishing 201."

"Superb customer service, I told the associate (think his name was Alexander) that I was new to fly fishing and wanted to catch steelhead. He set me up with all the right flies without trying to sell me anything I didn’t need. He even printed out some sheets for fly fishing tactics. Will definitely come back."

"great store! I have shopped here for several years and every time I stop in it’s always a great experience. Great selection and and salespersons that you would expect from the orvis brand but still somehow manages to have a small shop feel. Staff was almost more excited than I was for my upcoming fly fishing trip. I have also taken a few of the fly fishing and fly tying seminars and have learned a great deal in both. Can’t wait to go back soon!"

"Utterly and completely disappointing. After calling ahead being told Tom would be in the store every night during the week until 7, when I arrived he was not there after assuring me he would be. Further, the associate on duty spent 5 minutes trying to convince me I called the Woodmere store by mistake. Only after showing my cell phone with the Westlake number did she believe me. I considered buying the reel and setting it up myself, but was so aggravated at the treatment I left in disgust. Used to be that everyone in Orvis was a fly fishing enthusiast, not just a guy named Tom which is sporadically available. Sometimes. Maybe."
