"My wife went here to get her hair and makeup done for our wedding. She paid $140, but got $40 worth of quality. The staff was rude and evasive. They also lied to her by saying a person would be there, but she was actually out sick for the day. All my wife wanted was to feel pretty for her wedding day, and she did not at all. 0 out of 10. Very poor show. Would never recommend to anybody."

"Listen....I have never been one of those women who walk out of a salon feeling like I have amazing hair UNTIL I went to The Hair Co of Geneva and had Melissa Skaggs do my hair (toner and blowout). The woman is a magician. Not a fluke either, because I have been there twice now. Where she goes, I'll follow (but definitely hoping that she stays put because it is oh so convenient). I am not easy to please, trust me, but she performs some amazing magic (or more likely, just strong, solid skills) on my hair."

"My hair was in bad shape because I did not cut my hair for a few years. I had been coloring it myself, and my hair had become very dry from the combination of not cutting it, coloring it, and blow drying natural curly hair. Melissa was a miracle worker with my hair forsure!! I have a fear of people cutting my hair too short because how natural curly hair shrinks up after it is cut then dried. My hair color was beautiful along with the highlights I got in my hair to give it some dimension. I got about three inches cut off my hair. My hair is so much more healthy, and thicker looking than it has looked in a longtime. I have come back ofcourse because Melissa does an amazing job. I also watch how the other ladies color and cut. They all do a wonderful job. It is a very cute, clean salon, with friendly stylist that know their stuff. (coming from a former barber of 15 years that was in the business). Thank you!!"

"I walked in for a root touch up at 10 am and Melissa dedicated her entire day to saving my hair. She did not take one other appointment and stayed open - even later than close to work on my hair. As a woman with very thick, curly hair, I have always been rushed in other salons, however Melissa was extremely kind, very talented and took the time needed to resurrect my hair. She retouched my roots, gave me a full head of beautiful highlights, and worked with other stylists to get the perfect tone on my hair. She carefully picked through each section of my hair and used two toners on specific pieces to give me the end result that I have been told by other salons I could never achieve. The entire staff is extremely pleasant! I have a bit of hair salon anxiety, but this salon was inviting and comfortable to be in for the 7 hours I was there. I have never been so obsessed with my hair, she was personable and fun to spend the day with! I will never go anywhere else!"

"Salon is very clean and very nice vibes. I booked an appointment via Facebook messenger for a hair cut. First time at this salon, everyone was very friendly but my hairstylist definitely did not know what she was doing. I think her name was Hannah. I asked for about 2-3 inches cut off my hair, wispy bangs with face framing and long layers. I should have realized something was wrong when my stylist was still cutting my hair an hour and a half later. I ended up losing about 5-6 inches but no big deal hair grows back except for the fact my hair is cut very uneven. My right side is a solid 2 inches longer and that’s probably because half way through my haircut she got another stylist to come help with my hair (I don’t recall her name) but she did the right side and left Hannah to do the left because she had another client. Also, my bangs are also very uneven and I only got face framing on the left side of my face. Very disappointed, will definitely not be coming back. I’m not normally one to write a bad review and complain but it was just ridiculous. But all in all, it is just hair and I will be dealing with the bad haircut until it grows back, but to get it recut will definitely go to another salon. So just be careful who you make an appointment with, seems to be they have very unexperienced hairstylist working. If they would have told me that she was new I’d be a little more understanding but I was under the impression she knew what she was doing and still paid full price."
