"You go there and directed to phone numbers, why have a place when people can't come and help you face to face, I'm sick of talking to robots on the phone its ridiculous. I've worked for 18 years and now that I need help I have to rely on a machine over the phone, how hard is to have actual caseworker help face to face."
"will not do anything to help children in abusive situations. they’ll take forever to come out, and still won’t do anything. even with so much proof! i have to watch this child being abused and hating life and no one does anything to help him. wish they cared."
"When someone calls and leaves a message requesting you call back, they should have their voice-mail box set up. What kind of government body neglects to put in a voice-mail system? Multiple calls, got no answer. Next day, my application is denied. Thanks for that. Also, idk who decided $45k a year, gross, is enough for a household of 5? After taxes and health insurance, itsnless than $2k a month. Then bills. Yall are starving folks, and most of those "folks" are children."
"No help whatsoever. I had major concerns about my sons living at his fathers because he had a bedbug infestation, no hot water, and my son always complained no food. What a circus. Hire better people that actually care about the well being of the child! Mind you the bedbugs were visible on top of the mattress the same day she went to his house and she said she didn’t see any. I’m baffled."
"Toddy, was probably one of the rudest, nastiest, most unhelpful persons I’ve encountered in my entire adult life. I went to the office to ask a question about child healthcare because there was a glitch when calling the 1800 number. She refused to speak when greeted and also refused to listen to my question. Instead, she dialed the same number I called without speaking a single word to me. When I attempted to tell her what the issue was, she screamed, “are you going to listen or not to the phone or not?” And that point, I just left the office and called a different department (different number) to get a few answers. I only have 2 stars because the receptionist was really nice and helpful, plus I was the only guest in the office to be served. People like Toddy should not work with the general public, not sure what her job is, but it’s very clear what it should NOT be. Find another person to work with!!"
