"Loved it there until last two times the eyebrow wax ripped my skin off. First time they did everything to fix it and was great so I came back and it happened again and I asked was this my fault meaning was it my skin or the wax or what.., I just got ignored. I love this place but I can’t keep getting my skin ripped off everytime."

"The first photo, of me in the black and white top, is the photo I shared with my hairstylist. It was taken as I left a salon in Illinois, and I hoped she could recreate the cut. The second photo, with me wearing larger glasses and a gray shirt, was the cut I received. I was very disappointed, it looked nothing like the cut I asked for. I was going to give Beauty Bar another chance. I had some time today, and made a last minute appointment to have my bangs trimmed. Within the hour, I changed my mind and called them back. They let me know because I had not given 24 hours notice, I would be charged for half the service. That I had just made the appointment for an hour ago, and then changed my mind. Absolutely no flexibility was given. Due to the absolute failure of a haircut and then being charged when I canceled nearly immediately after making the appointment, I won’t be going back to Beauty Bar. I would have given them another fair shot if they had shown a little flexibility."

"Kaylee does amazing hair! She does what you ask for but also offers suggestions for improvement! The atmosphere is comfortable and the front desk employees are always friendly and helpful. Who wouldn't want to relax getting your hair done with a great Mimosa!"

"I visited the salon back in FEBRUARY and received the worst treatment ever!! I had messed up my blonde hair, I normally do it myself, but I was pregnant and wanted it done for me. My roots were not taking any toner I was using. I went to the Beauty Bar because I have used them before and they made my hair beautiful. When I made my appointment I was very specific on what happened and what I needed. I was a cosmetologist! This girl but HALF HIGHLIGHTS in my hair when I needed it toned and said she needed to “brighten” it up, and then NEVER TONED MY HAIR!! I have been trying to get this resolved since February and no one wants to give me a call back. I paid for this and left crying in my car and was told someone would call me. I will never recommend this place again."

"Gel Nails: These are my gel nails after 6 days! My gel nails prior lasted almost three weeks before a small chip occurred. According to my research, gel nails should last for weeks. I like having a pretty set of nails, but at approximately $66 including gratuity...I cannot afford to have my nails done weekly-the expense and time. And, I don't want my nails to look absolutely hideous after a week! I contacted The Beauty Bar hoping for a complementary touch up or something, but they offered nothing. I will not be returning for nail services."
