"I love this place and the people and it's one of my favorite golf courses."
"Was here for a baby shower outside in the shoulder house. The pizza that was provided was pretty good. Seen a lot of drunken Buckeye fans inside (not there for baby shower) that left driving That probably should not have been."
"Everyone was super friendly. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The food and drinks were yummy. I enjoyed my time at the Lodge. Thank you!"
"The golf course here is a nice-ish course, but what killed it for me is the fact that, while I appreciate their rules on on course attire, not everyone has or likes to wear proper golf attire. I brought my dad and father-in-law to play golf here this past week. My father-in-law isn't a fancy clothes guy. He's in a tee shirt and jeans all the time. Just him. I never thought twice about this being a problem, because no golf course ever makes a big deal about this that I've been to, and, to my detriment, I'd not read their web page very closely. So. We show up at the course, the starter in the pro-shop told my father-in-law about the policy of proper golf attire, gave us a waiver for that day and told us we could play and to have a nice day. So we go on about our day playing golf, and as we're coming up number 18, my dad noticed an Unpleasant Looking Man watching him and my FIL like a hawk from the veranda of the lodge. I didn't see him, as I was on my own cart on the other side of the fairway. We finished up, went to our car and started unloading our stuff to be on our way. Unpleasant Looking Man walked all the way from the veranda of the lodge to follow us to our car to give my father-in-law hell about not wearing proper golf attire, saying that he was the former high Muckety muck or some such other snobbery and they don't tolerate things like that. Probably didn't bother FIL too much, but made me a bit hot under the collar. We had to take our carts back to the pro-shop and I saw Mr. Unpleasant Looking Man walk into there. I admit that I went in and gave him a piece of my mind about his snobbery and so on. Mr. Unpleasant Looking Man can have his snobby, uppity golf course and inflexible attire rules and I'll take my money some place else. The course and atmosphere isn't as nice as they imagine it to be Full disclosure, I do follow proper golf attire rules myself, just because I like to wear golf clothes as to me, they are comfortable. But others may not think so. And I am not a member of this or any fraternal lodge, so I don't know if this is just them."
"Had lunch here with my Aunt and Uncle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!!"
