"Please be careful hiring this business. The owner Ken is quick to get out for a estimate. However, after that it is next to impossible to reach anyone. The installer duo arrived without calling. Thankfully my dogs were not in the yard at that time. Sadly, the biggest issue was that the unit they installed was installed improperly. They also broke the unit while installing it. No one told us about any of this. But they immediately mailed out a bill for a finished job. We had a different company out for another job & they caught the issues and brought them to our attention before we attempted to use the unit. Their installation would have caused a fire. A resolution was reached purely because we had to chase them down ourselves. Our desire to support a small business could have ended in disaster. Unfortunately this company has a habit of arguing when customers give an honest review. For that reason, I hesitated to leave a review—the experience was too stressful to leave unsaid. I personally trust the reviews of others when looking up businesses. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid a terrible mess. Just be careful."

"I’ve given 2 stars as it was a mixed experience for me. I went into the store on 2 separate occasions as well as called twice in a span of a month asking if I bought a pump and sand filter there if they would install. All three occasions the staff were certainly nice, however not once have I been contacted after leaving my information a total of 3 times. I finally gave up and contacted a company in Ft Wayne that quoted me and did installation in a weeks time. Truly disappointing experience overall. To respond to your question below, nothing was ever purchased or set up, sorry I didn’t clarify that. I made it clear on all of my attempts that I wanted to purchase a sand filter and a pump from your store and each time my contact information was taken down, but no one ever called me back."

"They are always super helpful on what chemicals I need. One guy even stayed after hours on a Saturday just so I could get my chemicals (I wouldn’t ask them to do that normally as a courtesy it was 20 mins.) fair prices and excellent service."

"In Feb 2021, we requested Clarity Pools to quote us on a new liner install. We provided a pool map that was given to us by the previous home owner. Clarity performed service tasks previously & friends approved of these guys, so we rolled with it. Ken was our contact. He seemed prompt & helpful. We quickly chose a liner design & placed a down payment via credit card to ensure the earliest spot on the install list (Ken said to expect early summer & June was confirmed, weather permitting). From then on, we received nothing from Clarity Pools unless we prompted (and if we were lucky). When we did reach out, Ken claimed rain put them behind. Understandable considering our area experienced a very wet spring & early summer. We finally reached out many more times because we were planning a party for the end of July. We had lots of sunshine & Ken finally said we were NEXT UP! Wonderful! However, that sunny week in July came & went, with no install or contact from Ken. One week before our party, we reached out to Ken. This is when he told us his install crew were on vacation with their families & our pool would NOT be done by the end of July for our party. Ken seemed to purposefully postpone replying to us & never installed within the 2 months expected, even with solid weather. After this we were quite frustrated. Plenty more "sunny days" lapsed & no liner was installed. We requested a final install date OR full refund of our deposit ($2k). Without prior notification, Ken claimed to have "dropped off" the liner in our driveway, sent a photo of the box & refused to install it entirely. Needless to say, we filed a dispute to reverse our deposit funds through our credit card company. Ken never replied to the dispute claims. Remember, we purchased a custom pool liner PLUS installation ("full service" purchase, not just a liner). Since no delivery or service could be confirmed, we were awarded a full refund without hassle - but not until well into October of 2021. Yeah, we missed the entire pool season, but worse yet was the run around & lack of honesty in the minimal communications from the highly unprofessional Clarity Pools sales rep, Ken. ENDING TWIST:  After calls to local suppliers & after several reputable pool companies measured our pool, we realized Ken ordered the incorrect liner size for us! Did he ever measure to ensure proper fit? Who knows. Truly seems Ken skipped responsibility entirely. BUYER BEWARE."
