Mi Monterrey

"We all ordered food for pickup for lunch. I got soft chicken tacos. There was so much water/fluid in the tacos from the chicken the taco turned to soft mushy dough. I turned the taco on its end and fluid ran all over the place… a constant stream. The chicken was tasteless. I ended up throwing them away. The salsa tastes bad… old I was afraid to eat it. I’m afraid we won’t come back here."

"I personally love this restaurant. I've been going since I was a kid. However, here recently I have had awful experiences with one of the waitresses. she is the only female there so It's not that hard to know which one I'm posting this about. She has been extremely rude the last couple times I've been there. Today I even tried to request a different waiter. Anyways, we got seated this evening with her being our waitress. she took out drink orders (the owner had to come take it again because "she forgot") and once our drinks are brought out, she basically immediately asks if we are ready to order. We told her not yet, so she walks away and comes back maybe 2-3 minutes later and asks again. We once again say not yet, she then doesn't come back for another 25-30 minutes and only comes back due to me waving her down. Now I wasn't being rude or anything but, she asks what I want which I proceed to tell her then before my sister (who is with me) gets to order she walks off. So, we get up go to the owner, ask for my order to be made into a take-out order, then we leave. Again, I'm not talking completely awful on this whole restaurant because I truly do enjoy eating there but, I feel like she needs to either be put doing a different job within the restaurant or something else. Shes an awful waitress."

"My husband and I have eaten here 4 times and loved every entree that we have ordered. The service is superb and the servers are so friendly. Very clean and reasonably priced."

"Was there during lunch ordered 2 beef fajitas dinners. When the check came they charged us full price. Don't appreciate the lowness in this act. I read on Facebook they had pulled some sneaky stuff with other people but I guess I needed to learn for myself. I will make sure my friends and family are aware. My dining partner was a four year old so to be charged dinner prices at lunch hours was a pricey meal for two! My last trip here for sure and this is not a jab at the woman who took our drink order or the guy who delivered the food to the table cause it was good. The old man was not very personable, pretty sure he was the ticket figurer."

"I love some real Mexican food and it’s hard to find authentic restaurant quality in Kentucky besides in the suburbs This place was very well priced and I always ask for the house made hot sauce because they make it but people don’t often want it too spicy so it’s not readily available. Salsa is great and lots of food for a good price . Fajitas for two is more like family amount of food. I’m not complaining at all I can eat leftovers all day ! Steak fajitas was very yummy"
