"My daughter went to Wood County ER with a possible broken toe. The doctor looked at it, said it didn't look broken and told her to take Tylenol. She had to ask for an X-ray and of course, the toe was fractured. The doctor ripped off part of her toenail WITH HIS HANDS, then left the exam room without cleaning the wound. Again, she had to ask for the wound to be cleaned. They also didn't provide her with a boot to walk (she's a student and has to walk on campus). This ER is a dangerous place if you need help. Go anywhere but here."
"Wood County Hospital put my daughter's life in Jeopardy. She was actively bleeding and they did nothing to attempt to stop it . To make matters worse they admitted they weren't qualified for the task and then submitted a transfer to Toledo . The doctor at wood county took 2 hours to sign the papers while my daughter was actively bleeding. Also, when the young gentleman handed me the discharge papers he said "now we can legally kick you out" absolutely disgusting. They are uneducated and unprofessional there and I'd advise you go to any hospital beside that one"
"Terrible bedside manner from the nurse. I felt less than human in her presence. Literally had just discussed being dehydrated with the ER doctor who told me it’s good they’re giving me fluids and the nurse came to discharge me minutes after that. She threw my IV bag IN THE TRASH when it was 3/4 full. Now tell me if I’m going to be billed for 1/4 of an IV bag.... My body needed the fluids but apparently the nurse didn’t think so."
