"We love this festival, and have been coming since the 80s! So many fun things to do! I recommend going on Friday, because it’s the least crowded day. Be advised you have to pay to enter, and it’s cash only, but there is an ATM available in case you don’t have any money. I’d definitely recommend bringing cash, though, because there isn’t great cell phone/internet signal out there, so a lot of vendors can’t take credit cards. There is every type of festival food you can imagine: huge roasted turkey legs, funnel cakes, deep fried Oreos, burgers, bbq, blooming onions, and more. There are 4-5 tents of craft vendors with all sorts of beautiful wares, as well as kid-oriented activities like pony rides, face painting, sand art, and caricatures. There are also lots of free displays- the petting zoo, sheep shearing and herding demos, people spinning wool, music and dancers, ax throwing, a blacksmith, and more. We have a blast every time we come, and I know you will too!"

"I love making wood crafts signs cabinets shelves different things, but everything there is homemade, I got several different ideas, for me and there prices was reasonable, very good actually the way wood has went up in price, call your local lowes and ask how much of 4 by 8 foot 1 inch thick #1 plywood is a piece you’ll be surprised"
"We always have such a good time at the Wool Festival! I'd have to say my fave part this year was the live bluegrass music. The kids had a blast as well. The scenery is gorgeous and while you're in the area I suggest going to the lake if you have time. The trails are beautiful and peaceful and it's always nice."
