City of Taylor Mill Community Center

The City of Taylor Mill Community Center, located at 5606 Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, offers a variety of recreational, social, and fitness opportunities for community members of all ages. The center is part of the Taylor Mill Parks and Recreation Department, which also maintains Pride Park and the Park Place Community Center.

Pride Park is an 80-acre recreational area with beautiful views of rolling hills and deep ravines. The park, originally a sheep farm, still houses two family cemeteries. It offers covered shelters with picnic tables, grills, water fountains, and handicap accessible restrooms for rent. The park also features an amphitheater available for public use.

The Park Place Community Center is a non-smoking building located within Pride Park. It can be rented for public events or private functions. The center includes a main house with meeting rooms, a warming kitchen, and covered porches, as well as a café with a small serving area. An outdoor gazebo is also available for use by renters.

The Taylor Mill Community Center hosts a variety of community events throughout the year, including movie nights, holiday festivals, parades, and workshops. These events are organized by volunteers who help to strengthen and build the community. Additionally, the City of Taylor Mill is currently working on road construction in the Taylor Creek and Saddlebrook subdivisions. Residents are advised to follow detours and parking restrictions during this time.
