"The Paxton Theatre is a very special place and very dear to my heart! I am a history buff and lover of historic buildings. The theatre was completely restored several years ago and it is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Very nice restroom facilities too. The seating is elevated as you go back so there really isn't a bad seat. You have a great view of the stage from any seat including the balcony! The foyer underwent a recent fresh up with new paint and lighting when a coffee shop went in. The coffee shop serves hot and cold coffees, breakfast items and lunch foods. Everything we have had there has been really good! Our children have been involved in the children's theater program there for the past 7 summers. They have had a wonderful experience! I can honestly say that you won't see a better show anywhere! The sets, costumes, music, and acting ability of these kids is amazing! The staff at the Paxton including Tim are just top notch individuals who love this town and small community! We are so grateful to have this beautiful place just a short drive from Chillicothe!"

"A very old building with gold painted ceilings and a beautiful chandelier inside. The theater does not have a bad seat. It could use an update, but that would takeaway some of its charm. There is a coffee shop inside that makes delicious hot or cold drinks. I didn't eat there so I can not say if their food was good, but I am sure it was. I like the Paxton charm and look forward to going again."

"once bitten, twice shy ! My daughter was bitten by a rat while at a show. Paxton Bainbridge, OH. At first the management was helpful and understanding, now the guy is saying it never happened. The whiteness have also complained. It maybe time for some new management who take patrons safety serious. once bitten, twice shy"

"Must Read!!!!! This place is infested with rodents. During a show I felt something go across my foot. 4 seats down from me a little girl was bitten by a RAT on her ankle. He parents had to take her to the ER for treatment. I was so nervous about staying for the rest of the show in fear that I could be bitten by a rat, me and my husband left. I will never go back to see a show again!!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!"
