Heritage Steak & Whiskey

"We had the pleasure of dining at Heritage Steak & Whiskey for a late Valentine’s Day celebration recently. We were truly impressed by the culinary mastery of the head chef, Jeff Gable. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the duck was so tender it practically fell off the bone. Our meal began with the delightful burrata, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Kudos to the head chef for creating such a memorable meal that delighted our taste buds from start to finish."

"Exceptional dining experience at Heritage Steak & Whiskey. The Porterhouse carved table side was perfection and the macaroni and cheese was fabulous. The whiskey and wine selections are over the top outdone only by the service. Tonight was our second visit and we will be back."

"Ordered the hanger steak, grilled asparagus, and grilled mac & cheese. The mac & cheese is missing from the photo because they forgot that we ordered it. Once they brought it to us we were told we would not be charged for it. Stated that I wanted my steak well done, as you can see from the photo it's not well done. Despite those errors, the food was flavorful! There are plenty of whiskey/bourbon options. The beverage I ordered (bourbon) was priced at $28 on the menu. I was charged over $40 on the receipt, and it said long pour. I didn't ask for a long pour, and the beverage didn't seem like a long pour. When we reached the point where it was time to go and have our food placed in to go containers, they put our mac & cheese in the same container with the our friend's mac & cheese. Heritage Steak and Whiskey has the potential to get all 5 stars once they iron out a few more wrinkles with limiting the service errors (and consider turning down the volume on the music some so guests can converse without yelling)."

"This is a newer steakhouse here residing at the old Fleming's location in Eton. The signage for the restaurant is very small, like a piece of paper, so don't look for a "right here" type sign. They had valet service for $5, which is very cheap compared to other places. Immediately upon entering, the lady asked to check my coat. I'd give 5 stars just for that because I hate having my coat at my table. But I digress, the service was excellent. I had several questions about the menu, and our waitress was able to confidently and correctly answer every one of them. If you follow my reviews, then you know I love bread. Here, it's 1 roll per person, per serving. It's my husband and I, so we each received 1 roll each. I both love and hate this. I love it because it kept me from going full Professor Klump on bread. I hate it because it was good, so I had to ask for another 1. A blessing and a curse. The moral of this story, if you want more, they'll bring it, but there's better stuff coming. I like my steaks well done. I had a filet mignon. It came out medium well. I sent it back. It returned perfectly. I didn't need steak sauce, although I used a tiny bit. My husband had a ribeye. Boneless. I had some of his while waiting on mine. It almost made me regret my order. It was pure perfection. Don't forget, my steak was good as well. Our side items, which were the standard a' la carte, were creamed mustard greens and macaroni and cheese. This was my 1st time hearing of and having creamed greens. It was good. It's not something I have to have again but still enjoyable. It has bits of bacon and minced onions in it. I honestly think I was biased because I love creamed spinach. The mac-n-cheese was good. Very cheesy. My husband had a wedge salad. It has bacon on it that looked like croutons. He said it was so good. We were here for my husband's birthday. When booking, I put "birthday" as our reason for coming. When it's an "occasion," restaurants usually say happy birthday, put a little card on the table, or offer a little cupcake or something. Well, we were waiting on our check, and it bothered the birthday boy that no one had said happy birthday. So we asked the waitress if it showed up on our reservation. She said she wasn't aware. Fine. She took it a step further and spoke to the manager about it. They came out with a delicious slice of chocolate caramel cake and apologized. I thought that was very nice. I just assumed it was probably a glitch in the system since we booked thru Open Table and not directly with them. IDK. All I know is they righted a "wrong." I'm appreciative of that accountability aspect of customer service. This is definitely a place we will head back to in the near future. Plus, everything was good."

"The food, service and ambiance are all top notch. Beautiful, cozy space with warm lighting, very friendly staff… Everything we tried was impeccable… and a great wine and whiskey selection too. Def an exciting new addition to the east side dining scene… There’s nothing like it in the area."
