"Definitely recommend that if in the area to stop here to visit. Great place to take pictures and have a moment in history and education. Place is well taken care of. Parking lot is gravel, so come prepared. Signs are made of metal and a bit hard to read due to them being designed the way they were. Other signs are easy to read that have the description on them."
"Stumbled across this place out on an Ohio road trip. Unfortunately they were closed on a Tuesday, but a friendly staff member was nice enough to let me inside and answer some of my questions. I did get to pet the sheep as they were friendly also. I believe this was Sandusky county and she said that the county has 20 different parks."
"It's a very peaceful, and educational place. -bunny hopping around free in the main building, live animals in some small aquariums, stuffed birds, some touch and feel pelts etc... Maybe spend 30 mins in the building. There are some farm items and animals outside in warmer weather, goats, sheep, maybe chickens... Paved walks and unpaved into the woods. Wooden deck for picnic. Lower deck outside in the back of the building facing the woods, with chairs to relax and nature watch. Lots of space and very low-key. Glad we still have places like this carved out for everyone to enjoy!!!"
"We arrived late for our make-and-take but our presenter was Very compensative and we got to finish the class and take our stuff home. We also found out that they have a Website and a Facebook page."
"First visit here did not disappoint. Interesting, well maintained, well marked trails perfect for people and dogs. Dilly and Betty were so fun for the kids to interact with. A great stop, worth the detour for summer road construction."
