"Lovely place to walk. It's has large fish. Just hard to get decent access to Cast your lure into the good spots. Stopped out to see if leaves are falling. Not yet though. Water is very low right now."
"My favorite place to go walking. The atmosphere is so calming and peaceful. It’s mostly wooded except for the meadow area. Definitely recommend :)"
"First time here. I really loved it!! There are some very pretty trails through the woods, by the lake and creeks and through fields. Saw a family of deer! They have restrooms and picnic tables. You can fish too. My dog also loves it"
"We have been trying to get our girls prepared for a trip to Chicago so we have been doing daily walks and trying to mix things up a bit. This place was a google search bonus. We loved it, only complaint is some of the trails were blocked off with no real reason why, but otherwise the trails were nice and wide and level. They had two ponds for fishing and they looked well stocked and very well taken care of. The parking lots were very nice and everything was clean. They had a couple different picnic areas and some play equipment next to the big pond."
"Nice park to visit. Waterside views are nice for photos. There is a trail from each of two different parking lots. Trails are mostly easy going and meet on the back side of the lake and that trail ends with a loop that turns you around and brings you back to where the trails meet. In total its roughly 2.5 miles. They have recently put gravel down on the main trails. Unless you're by the water or the visitor's center there is no place to sit. Would be nice to have a few benches spread out along the main trails. There is no drinking water available, so bring your own. We have visited a few times and will go again."
