Best Western Plus Sandusky Hotel & Suites

"The staff and manager went above and beyond for my family. After my son had a seizure shortly after checking in, we had to leave for the 5 hr ride home. The hotel staff contacted the manager who then moved our reservation to another date so we didn’t loose any money. The room was spacious, cozy, and perfect. We did have a hard time sleeping on the rock hard mattresses but with their helpfulness, we had a nice stay and are so appreciative of them. Recommend Highly!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this location in September 2023. I had not made a reservation, we were on our way and the hotel was booked due to a wedding. We had family meeting us and no room. Thank goodness TATYANA answered the call. She called me back when another guest had to change their plans. Tatyana saved the day. We had a comfortable, clean room and breakfast ready in the morning. Also the lady setting up the breakfast room and buffet was so kind, a few guests came late for breakfast and she was happy to feed them. Such a great staff made a great stay. We will return to this location knowing we will have a good future stay when visiting Cedar Point. Thank you, Wanda Jobe Dayton Ohio"

"If I could give zero stars, I would. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance, received a confirmation and when I get to the hotel last night to check in, I was told they 'overbooked' and they did not have a room for me. At 9:45pm they told me and my family that we had to find another place to stay. Overbooked?? I don't think so...we got to the hotel later than check in time so they gave our room away and I'm quite sure figured they were going to double up by charging us for the room anyway because we never canceled. Shame on Best Western. And this is after I purposely decided to change our reservation from Holiday Inn because I had good experiences with a Best Western in Okemos. Never again will I make the mistake of booking at a BW."
