"They had what I went after , and of course, I had a full cart. LOL"

"I'm an ex-employee (early to late 2022) of this store, and I cannot stress this enough: PLEASE double check the expiration dates of any food, drink, medication or personal hygiene products you purchase here. During the months I worked at this store, I pulled SEVERAL carts near-bursting of expired products (of which I have attached a picture of the first cart I pulled). In the food/drink sections alone I pulled more than 300 items, which is when I stopped trying to keep count. Some of these products were expired for 2 years at that point, and anywhere in between. I pulled entire boxes of snacks that had expired but were still left out for customers to purchase. In personal hygiene I pulled half a basket of toothpaste. Dozens of deodorants. Medication was also bad. Pain killers from a year prior at least. Whole boxes of cough drops. 65 packets of vitamin C drops alone! I couldn't keep track of everything I ever had to remove, but sitting down and realizing entire selections of medications and food and drinks had to be destroyed because it was weeks, months, YEARS expired was horrifying. The worst was when a customer had returned a drink - A bottle of flavored tea from the fridge section - Because it was RIDDLED with chunks of mold, after having expired months prior. And then checking the rest of the tea (and the other flavors of that brand), it was discovered every. Single. Bottle. Was full of mold and long expired. I think about that customer from time to time, mortified. Management doesn't care about this. I dealt with a lot of passive-aggressive attitude when I was checking expiration dates during my time here, and was even told it was a waste of time and not that important. They do not rotate stock. They do not check for expiration dates. They don't care. Not until someone brings in a spoiled product, and they only care then because a scene is made. Please please PLEASE double or even TRIPLE check the dates of things you buy from here."
"So, as an employee of another dollar tree, I KNOW corporate sent out a message stating that ALL DOLLAR TREES are REQUIRED to have bathroom access to customers. Yet, my husband was denied bathroom privileges, and a disabled vet, was almost not able to make it to taco bell next door. The employees were rude, and I hope corporate office reaches out to correct this as it is a legal issue!"
