Reviews of Cleveland Grays Armory Museum
"I have been a member of the Grays for four years and have done lots of volunteer work rehabbing the building. The drill hall is huge with an upper balcony. The 2nd and 3rd floors have the museum and club rooms. Lots of history in this building with massive sandstone blocks in the front that it looks like a fortress. There are regular open houses so don’t miss seeing this building if you get a chance. Lots of volunteers keep this place going. This wonderful slice of history and architecture needs to be maintained and preserved. It needs volunteers to join and help on the frequent work parties."
"This facility is a treasure trove of historical relics with a room for any event. All the years I’ve lived in Cleveland I passed this building dozens of times, thinking never to stop and discover what it was, because obviously it was a well-built old building. Well, wonder no more, and O encouraged anyone coming to visit Cleveland to see this gem of history in itself. The stairs where especially a treat, lined up with old pictures of brave soldiers of years gone by."
"Very cool place. I've lived in Cleveland for years and never knew this existed. The organ is AMAZING (saved from the Warner Thater in Erie, PA). Lots of Cleveland history!"
