"Big park with a playground and swimming pool, great place to bring the whole family!"
"It's a very large park with 2 separate play areas for the kids. I took my (soon to be 4 years old) little girl today. When we first arrived, I noticed a lady sitting at a picnic table close to the playground, she was overly dressed for the weather, holding a beer and she held something up to her mouth and held a lighter to it (not a cigarette) There were about 4 other kids playing and they were with their grandmother's. They were well behaved and everyone was friendly. Within 10 minutes a man walked up to the woman sitting down, started yelling and swearing and carrying on like a disrespectful piece of trash. The grandmother's quickly took the kids and I quickly grabbed my little girl. It's sad that people have suck little respect for others. I'll stay in the suburbs where I belong."
"Playground and work out pad is pretty good. Sadly,The ghetto nature of alot of the visitors have quickly caused degradation at a rapid rate. Graffiti and fire damage is rife, weeds are growing through the mulch and the bathrooms are sadly damaged. Its not the park's fault/city of Lorain...It is definitely the ghetto rats coming over and "Expressing themselves". Sad,sad."
"For the Lorain city area, this is a very decent park. Compared to most parks in Lorain it is moderately well kept, but compared to parks in surrounding communities like Avon and Amherst, it’s pretty dumpy—lots of trash every time we go and some equipment is dated and in disrepair. However, it’s a fairly large park that can suite a variety of ages. So all things considered, it’s decent."
"This park is okay. It is right down the street from our house, so it's nice to be able to walk there. However, there are no benches near the splashpad, nor are there garbage cans. Overall, it's decent."
