Ohio Caverns - Open All Year

"Nice cave system, very impressive. I have been to a bunch of different caverns around the U.S. and this one was one of the more expansive ones that I have seen. It's surprising to see just how far you have traveled underground when you come out at the end point. The cave bacon lacked some redness to it, but the Crystal King was rather impressive and so was the xenomorph egg looking thing. Also, the floating pillars were unique and something I had not seen before. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but a very worth-while trip."

"Caverns themselves were beautiful. Historical tour gave a lot of good information. The other tour was "prettier." Tour guide knowledgeable and pleasant. We have visited cavers before and while the caverns themselves were always nice, the area outside is usually dirty. Here, even the bathrooms were clean!!! Nice, reasonably priced gift shop. Nice family day."

"Our visit here was a nice visit and we had an awesome tour guide. There was a Little bit of a weight but that is because the tours are scheduled in incremental time frames we didn't have a problem getting into the next available tour. Tour groups are small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable. We enjoyed shopping at the store and I even got to use their indoor sleuth box. We bought the $25 bag and the amount of cool rocks and minerals in it well exceeded the cost so I was very satisfied. We will be returning again this summer with my grandchildren. This is definitely an excellent tour. If you have never been to a cavern because it is not too long, it is not too short and it does not present a claustrophobic presence."

"I went here with my family and had a blast! We are Ohio natives and have never been here before. Lots to see and do. The caverns are beautiful and well maintained. The guides were helpful and informative. They have most amnesties here and if not there is a town nearby to shop or eat if you would like. Plenty of selections. The gift shop was a fun experience for the kids too. They got to crack their own geodes open with assistance from staff."

"The caves were amazing! All of the staff members were super nice, friendly, & helpful. This is definitely a fun day to get away with your family or with your loved one. You will not be disappointed. We saw both caves & there were 4 of us and it was only a few bucks over $100 & honestly I think that was such a good price."
