Adventus Climbing

"Great place everyone was helpful. If you have never been before it takes about 15 to 20 min to get signed up and to go over the basics. And if you have nothing of your own it will be about 30$ for a pass and shoe and harness rental. I didn't see any drinks or snacks for sale. So bring your own. Other than that it's a cool place lots of challenges and a very large bouldering area. Climbing is dangerous!!"

"Had the pleasure of visiting Adventus this past weekend. I have climbed at a few rock gyms in various cities (DC, Philly, St. Louis). After going to Adventus I can say that it exceeded my expectations and fares quite well against big city gyms. 5 or 6 auto belays (depending on repair status), plenty of top rope and bouldering, and some routes for lead climbing as well. First visit sign-up process, orientation, and testing out for top rope belay went smoothly. Staff were very cordial and helpful. Only thing that I wasn't accustomed to is an in-house grading system that is not quite as precise as 5. or V classifications. Overall a great experience and will go again!"

"Overall best climbing gym I've visited! They switch out routes and problems regularly to keep it spicy. Their rules and standards keep u as safe as possible whilst optimizing the fun! They have great deals for members, 10% off any merch and u can bring in a person for free if it's their first time visiting Adventus, but u will have to purchase rentals if u don't have shoes or harness (harness is optional, if u just climb the Boulder wall u don't need it). But don't fret, the rentals are like 4 or 5 bux. They have fun events every so often like just recently there was a Halloween/ dyno competition/ black light party. Very fun! Or other smaller events like college night or date night to showcase your skills to friends or significant other! The awesome staff at Adventus are open to other suggestions to making other types of events as well. Fun place to bring the kids to get their wiggles out on the wall. Just remember, safety first. They have a workout section if your trying to get a pump in or isolate certain muscle or just to warm up. It's not a huge workout area but it gets the job done, so dont go thinking its going to be a planet fitness or anything. Yes! They don't just have a hang board, they have 2! And just constructed a moon wall(I believe that's what it's called), still a work in progress but just need the pads and that will be ready soon! In closing, if I had one wish, hopefully they could franchise this awesome idea so everyone everywhere could enjoy it as much as my friends, family and myself does. "Just a very family friendly place. I've been going on sat/sun for 3mos now and it just keeps getting better. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also always making sure to keep an eye out making sure everyone is being safe as possible. The classes are great and the instructors are ready to help anyone who asks. The walls/routes change every 6 weeks or so. If you're new to bouldering even the other climbers are friendly and helpful to get you moving in a good direction. So stop in and try it out. The membership is the best value. Unlimited climb time and a lot of classes are free. You can even bring in a new person once a month to try it out. By far my favorite place to be for a nice mental and physical workout."

"Adventus is a great time, great workout and fun for my whole family. The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and they are constantly at work setting new routes so regular climbers never get bored with the same old routes. My kids also are a part of their homeschool class, and they have a great time!"
