"Expensive store, but the experience building a bear was fun used to do as a kid, but now I'm an adult. I went to see how it used to be and it was OK but too expensive bear it self costed $40 then it needed clothes and it would of been more money so I just bought the bear and left, it was great to put my mother's heartbeat in it but could of bought a cheap bear and a voice recorder ,sewed the bear right back up for cheap if I did myself but I didn't feel like it . But it was OK experience but too expensive again , p.s. I was the only one in the store sad that they dont get a lot of customers cause too expensive, I also didn't get a certificate for my bear, no one asked me .I was so upset"

"I had gotten my wife a bear about 15 years ago. When we had our son we gave him the bear. Now the speaker inside of him stopped working so we stopped at Build-A-Bear. From the moment we walked in they made him feel so welcome. They fixed the speaker for free and put a new heart in him and restuffed him for free and made my son's day. Thank you build a bear for making my son's day."

"So I took my daughter to build a bear for the first time to get her birthday bear! And the worker was just sooo sweet!!! She asked if my daughter liked Mrs Rachel? And of course she loves Mrs Rachel so when it was time to put a heart in she picked up two hearts let my daughter pick one then the worker proceeded to sing put it in put it in put it. . . . In. . . . My daughter then proceeded to put the heart in the bear and for me that was sooo sweet of the worker to go so above and beyond to get my little 1 year old to interact! I’m not sure of the workers name I should have asked but the date was 12/16 she was a blonde woman and was stuffing and was also the one who checked us out I initially picked a blue happy birthday shirt for the bear and she said oh did she pick the blue over the pink I told her I didn’t see the pink she then proceeded to walk over and grab the pink which was the one we ended up with! She made the experience a 10/10"

"First time we took my granddaughter to the mall We took her to build a bear. She's 10 now and still remembers the experience. Today we took my grandson who is five And it was his first trip to the mall. We went to Build-A-Bear And everyone was friendly and helpful and the experience was wonderful Went back 8/23 Still helpful and friendly but understaffed. Made our bear right away but waited 10 minutes to get cashed out."

"If I could give them six stars, I would! I visited with my wife, daughter, and grandson, and it was a wonderful experience. There were so many different stuffed animals to choose from, and the outfit selection was fun as well. My grandson gravitated to the dinosaur first, but because of their two bear discount, we were able to get him a classic bear as well. Sure it was pricier than just buying a standard bear off the shelf, but the point of it is the experience of shopping and customizing the bear, and I feel like that was worth the price that was charged. This brings me to the staff. They were phenomenal. Like many, Covid restrictions have made their job more difficult, as controlling the flow of wandering children is key. To accomplish this, there are clearly marked "stations" for families to make their way through the store, and all of the staff wore appropriate PPE, many with bright colored choices to appear more fun. Every single staff member was warm and engaging to my grandson, and he had such a good time interacting with them. They were also super helpful in guiding us through which accessories worked with which animal, and highlighting some things that would be of interest based on his choices. Thank you all for helping us make a treasured memory with our grandchild and our daughter. Keep up the fantastic work!"
