"Great selection of drinks. A full menu of at least 15 on tap plus mixed drinks. Beards and bellies also makes good bar food. We always get the bread pudding, the chocolate and caramel are heavenly. The beer cheese and pretzels are also good if you want something more salty than sweet. Good selection of soda for my husband who doesn't drink. Good place for families. Never had to wait for a table like going here in the summer too as there are picnic tables outside. Smoking is allowed. Wheelchair and stroller friendly."

"Wooden Cask is a truly underrated local gem. They make some of the best beers around! Their English-Style and expansive dark beer selection makes them stand out locally. You can buy cans/bottles and get growler fills at this York Street location. I’ve seen it at some Kroger locations and Party Source too. I LOVE the food at Beards & Bellies, the restaurant inside here. I especially like the brunch and the pulled pork nachos. Tuesday Trivia Night is always a fun time also! My favorite event was the night with the ducks. That was so fun thanks to Longbottom Bird Ranch."

"Nice selection of bourbon and beer. The flights are reasonable priced and worth getting, several different choices for all bourbon taste. Pair a flight of bourbon with a beer, believe me you won't be disappointed. Ordered some food from the Beards & Bellies BBQ that's inside the Wooden Cask Brewing Company. The smoked brisket slider was a home run. Nice flavor and the brisket was juicy tender. The Broccoli Salad was okay but more of the sauce that was mixed with it would've made that dish great. The smoked wings had a good flavor but was dry and tuff. They serve 6 wings ( not whole wings) for $9.00 bucks. Not worth purchasing in my opinion. The Smoked Sausage was 4 small slices of sausage, maybe from a half of a link cut up to make roster coming in at $7.00 bucks. Another item on the menu not worth purchasing for the money. When you leave this place you will smell like you BBQ'D. Not sure if the kitchen exhaust fans are working correctly or if they have one at all. I'll be back for the bourbon, beer and smoked brisket sliders."

"Our second time to stop here for beers and dinner, and we definitely will be coming back! The beer selection is good, and everything we had were solid beers - IPAs and dark beers - can’t go wrong. What we were REALLY impressed with was the food - Beards and Bellies Barbecue. I had a side of brisket that was fantastic. My vegetarian wife split with me the veggie option nachos, the potato salad and the broccoli salad. They were all amazing. If you’re a “mixed” family like us (vegetarian and omnivore), this is a great option!"
