"This is a great local ice cream shop. They serve Hershey brand hard ice cream. They also have soft serve and offer a little treat for dogs. Very friendly staff and clean facility. Highly recommend trying them out! The wife and I usually each get 2 scoops in a waffle cone and enjoy eating them on the swings at the boat launch that is right down the road."

"We took the pups for a ride to the beach in sheffield. We didn't plan on the downpour and then birds being all over the beach afterward (my dogs would have went after them in sure). So we decided it's best to just go get some puppy cones and a snack for us. I searched nearby places and can across this little gem. Very friendly staff and good service. We had 3 pup cups, a strawberry sundae and nachos. There's a super cute covered bridge and picnic tables just down the hill from their parking lot. I highly recommend for a nice ice cream spot."

"Grab your kids and family and head on over to The Cardinal Scoop, Sheffield Lake’s very own ice cream shop! It is conveniently located right off the Sheffield Lake trail that connects to Lake Road. So when you’re on your daily walk you can stop in for a scoop of ice cream, a float, banana split, or soft serve. There is an assortment of flavors and toppings available. There is plenty of indoor seating a few tables for outdoor seating. There is a ramp for easy entrance for wheelchairs or strollers. Owners are very friendly and personable. In addition to ice cream, they also offer a selection of bottled water, bottled soft drinks, and bottled iced tea."
