The Christ Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center 11150 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249

"I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for mammography services. I was referred to the Christ Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center (this location) by my doctor who submitted the order directly to this location. I scheduled an appointment which was over 3 months out into the future. I received at least 5 text messages and a number of email reminders of my appointment. When I arrived to checkin, I was notified I owed $225 - I thought it was a billing error because mammograms (specifically your first one) are always preventive and covered under insurance. Not so - this location coincidentally is out of network for my insurance but they never thought to inform me. (Not once did they try to contact me even though they knew ahead of time it was out of network.) (Red flag #1) I also have to return for follow-up scans which, because they are out of network, required me to find another mammogram center. To do this, I had to get another order from my doctor and the new mammography center recommended I get the images and the readout on CD from Christ because there have been issues in the past getting them sent electronically. (Red flag #2) When I returned to obtain the images I overhead another patient being told they owed $200+. I truly believe this is a scam operation. (Red flag #3) Also - you are entitled to read every single piece of paperwork they make you sign and entitled to a copy of it - they will make you think otherwise. (Red flag #4) I used to think highly of Christ Hospital, but this experience has changed my view and also now I will ensure every single doctor appointment is covered under insurance. Do your homework. Read the reviews. Be well."

"If you are self pay, DO NOT trust their estimates. They don't include any bills coming from the radiology group that performs ultrasounds. This is extremely deceptive. When I questioned them about it, they said that they only give estimates for the breast center, not the radiology group. Aren't the ultrasounds performed IN the breast center?! They also gave me an estimate for only one breast and performed the ultrasound on both. They gave me a 20% discount for their error but I was still forced to pay $168 extra. That doesn't include the $155 from the radiology group. I am so upset about this."

"Having been going to the Montgomery Breast Center since they opened this office for a variety of procedures. They are always prompt in seeing me at the scheduled time and and the staff have always been very caring and attentive."

"Horrible experience. Scheduling center is completely incompetent. I have an idea, maybe only take patients for 2 hrs a day. Schedule months out, and then mess up an appointment and act so nonchalant about it and reschedule the person so they have to wait forever. It's not far off from reality."
