"I first saw him in his office in WC. I thought what a great doc. I was suffering from SUD and was on subutex. I showed up to every wed night meeting, even bringing snacks and that morning my daughter went into labor and there was NO WAY IN HELL I was going to miss the birth of my first grandchild. Needless to say, he promptly discharged me from his clinic for noncompliance after missing one group. I also seen him d/c three ppl for smoking on our breaks bc smoking is an addiction and I guess he didn’t approve of adults smoking outside on their breaks. He’s a short little man and has little man syndrome. All he cares about is that govt suboxone money. I wouldn’t take my hamster to him if he was depressed. He’s a truly truly awful “doctor”."
"Have been a patient of his for over 5 years, at first he was great, very attentive and helpful, now can not get a return phone call when he is "on call" and his office hours are less and less per week to be able to be seen in person for controlled substances as required. His NP is useless, has to have him sign off on things when he is never available so you wait for a week for a refill, if you can get one. He will prescribe medication to you that does not help, then give you that again plus more than stop prescribing it totally if he cancels the appointment the morning or day of until he can see you again 3 weeks later after you have run out of what you do need. I have been in the ER before for anxiety issues and he has never called them back when they have called him. If you cant return a call when I am in the ER for psychiatric reasons why are you in this field where people who trust and need you you make yourself unavailable to them? He is more concerned with running a suboxone clinic in the horrible section of Hamilton, a "ministry" if you want to call it that and raking in money from insurance companies and kick backs from pharmacy companies than truly helping people."
"Just wanted to share so others would know my grandmother has been a patient of Moss for 4 years she said at 1st he was really good but over time has completely changed he doesn't even ask how she's doing just looks at his computer doesn't listen to what she's trying to tell him and just keeps her on the same meds that do not work and send her on for her insurance money and I'm sure it's the same for alot of his clients I found my grandma a new doctor she starts next month I called mosses office numerously to try to speak with someone and never got an answer or call back and he also would only give her a 7 day supply of her physc meds when she needed enough to last until her new doctor appointment just a JOKE OF A DOCTOR! Spread the word!"
"If I could give a NEGATIVE 10, I would. I have NEVER seen a less caring doctor/practice in my life. Of all practices to be in, he certainly should not have gone into psychiatry. His office never answers calls or returns them. At least 90% of the time your appointment will be rescheduled at the last minute. It is sad that with insurance now, there aren't choices. You are at the mercy of hoping you will actually be seen occasionally. It is frightening to think one's mental health depends on someone like this."
"Very unprofessional and complete lack of compassion and care for my son. I can not speak of Dr Moss because my son never seen him. He seen a nurse practitioner in his office. But as for some of the staff and nurse, they were horrible. It took them 3 weeks to fax a referral to a Neurologist. To my surprise, they sent it to a Neurologist that specializes in Alzheimers. My son is 20. When I called, for the countless time, I was screamed at by the nurse practitioner and when I told her to lower her voice and be more professional, she hung up on me. Sadly, I am now searching for a better Dr and my son has to start all over with explaining his mental illness. I would think twice before seeking their treatment. They cause more aggrivation and hopelessness."
