"My son went for an appointment with Dr Arey for a medication refill check up but happened to be sick by apt. She came in checked his ears, asked him if one was bothering him, he says no (he's 9) she said ok. Checked his throat and said he's good. His father asked do u have any recommendations on what we should do since he's had a fever for past 2 days. She said his fever 100.3 isn't a fever really, just keep doing what you have been rotating Motrin and Tylenol. This was Tuesday Thursday he starts breaking out with a rash on elbows and knees, we take him to be seen at urgent care. He tests positive for influenza B and double ear infections, prescribed 3 medications and the Dr their thought it was crazy that my son's Drs office didn't even test him for flu based on how he looked and how bad its going around or acknowledge his ears when she checked them."
"I can't get ahold of them to become a patient. What makes you think I'll want to become one after waiting on hold for so long??"
"I had had several bad reactions to a certain type of medication in the past and told my primary care physician I no longer wanted to take that type of medication. I later had an appointment scheduled with my primary physician but instead an NP saw me (this wasn't told to me ahead of time, had I known I would've rescheduled to have the doctor I've been seeing for years see me.) Anyway, the appointment was regarding neuropathy. The NP prescribed Cymbalta which fell in the class of medication I'd asked to stay away from. Well, she made it clear that Cymbalta was the only drug that could work with my symptoms. Me, being stupid and trusting a medical professionals opinion believed her and tried Cymbalta. Within a week I messaged my primary doctor that I was experiencing negative side effects. He never responded but apparently passed the message to the NP who did respond. Her response was essentially, sorry that's happening keep taking the medication. Again, I followed her direction because she's the professional right? Silly me, I should never had trusted her. I ended up in the hospital for a week with side effects from the medication. What's more is that when I went to the hospital they immediately told me that Cymbalta is far from the only medication for neuropathy. Now I have thousands of dollars in medical bills, a week of lost wages, and trauma from all of this. I messaged my doctor to tell hom about the hospitalization and once again , he ignored my message. The NP responded with a similar response as the one before, "Sorry that happened, see you in April." No. You won't. I've moved my services to a practice where the doctors know what they're talking about."
"Amy is the best receptionist I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to! She has helped me so so much! She even called me back 4 minutes AFTER they closed to make sure I got the info I needed! SHE NEEDS A RAISE!! I stay with dr.esmaili because he cares about his patients BUT Amy cares about everyone who calls/walks in ! Amy is the highlight of this company!! GIVE THAT WOMAN A RAISE IMMEDIATELY!!!"
"My original practice was combined with this office and the receptionist before were so kind, patient and caring. The nurses were top notch and they always worked hard to get you seen and take care of any issue. We love our doctor so we followed them. My doctor retired but our new doctor is amazing, my husbands doctor Dr Esmaili is in this office now. He is why we followed the practice. Our doctors and nurses are still amazing. However, the receptionist are now rude and they rush you on the phone. I also don’t appreciate the tone in their voice like me calling to make an appointment is waste of their time. When it’s their job. The dedication that our doctor and nurses have out weigh this inconvenience, but i always hate having to call in. I avoid it at all costs, because their attitude always upsets me."
