"Dr. Manis has been my infectious disease doctor over a 16 year time period. Years ago, I was impressed. Recently, he refused to admit me when I was insisting on being admitted (which I never do). Then, during an appointment I expressed that if my infection were untreated that I would end up with sepsis for the third time. He still did nothing for my infection. I ended up in the hospital for a week. I don't know if he just doesn't want to practice anymore, or If he is just overwhelmed. Either way, I recommend finding someone else that will take you seriously so that you don't end up with further complications. Good luck to everyone!"
