"I was very disappointed in how the staff treated my daughter. She was accused of trying to steal a pack of gum. When I called and talked to the staff and owner, they said a lot of kids do steal so they were just being cautious and it looked like she might be walking towad the door with the gum.They also said, "kids can't just come in and touch things." They told my daughter, "I think you're done here" followed by, "nice try". They did however take my daughters dollar in the end. My kids have been going there since they were little, as did I. They have never stolen anything. It was embarrassing for my 10 year old and very upsetting. I might suggest customer care and sensitivity training. That's not how you treat customers, old or young, suspicious or not."

"Beekers was surprisedly busy today, but the store seem small and different to me. You can still buy old world craft in here and bolts of fabric still lay flat on the shelves. Candy in a jar and wooden toys still the grace the counters. The store keeper is friendly and helpful."
