"I read many reviews. Why do people rate their doctor by how friendly he/she is or the office was so helpful? My daughter in her 40’s was a patient of Dr. Dalboul. A month ago she faced a life threatening situation to do with a stent he had put in. It eroded into an artery and she was literally bleeding to death. Dr. Dalboul had her in surgery. He left the operating room to talk to us , her family, and literally asked permission not once, but 3 times for permission to do nothing due to her cancer diagnosis of which she’s in total remission. Adding wouldn’t last through the night. I finally told him to go find himself some help in no uncertain terms. Only then did a Thoriac surgeon save her life. He was Beyond Unprofessional. I would tell everyone to run from him."

"Had an appointment in September and set up a following appointment for a colonoscopy for December (earliest they could get me in). Come December, I followed the prep for my procedure and went to the hospital for it. They ended up canceling my appointment in October and did not contact me in anyway. No phone call, no email, no MyChart update. They also do not pick up their phone and are very unprofessional. Stay clear of this GI "specialist.""

"I would review the Dr but never could get the appt set up. First of all, they (Oregon office) VERY RARELY answer their phones so I would wait days for a call back and sometimes never received one. Second, the referral was sent five times and each time they said they never received it, and we had the fax confirmation. I then picked up the referral in person from my doctor and hand delivered it to Mercy in Perrysburg to get it in the system and was told it is now in the system so I made an appt but unfortunately was sick and had to cancel. I called to reschedule and was told there was not a referral and I would need to send one over. They said they never had one, even though I had delivered it to the Perrysburg location. The doctors may be good but I'll never know because I have given up and am going elsewhere. Such a poorly run office. I don't want a place that doesn't answer the phone. What if I really had a problem?"

"I have Dr. Daboul. He is courteous, kind, listens carefully, and answers all my questions. I can't say enough good about him! I wouldn't switch offices for anything."
