Reviews of Boot Barn
"Good place to get boots. It's really nice ppl. The store is well kept greeted when you walk in the door"
"Purchased my first Stetson hat here. Staff was very friendly and helpful as I have never owned a Stetson before. Drew was very helpful and educational on the care for the hat and even changed the band for one that looks fantastic. Would highly recommend!"
"I am surprised by all the low reviews. I did go pretty close to opening day. The place was fairly busy and even had a guy there playing guitar. None of the staff offered to help me but I didn’t need help as all the boots are on the display floor. Had a few wide range is styles and colors. Was happy to buy my boy his first pair of nice boots."
"12 Reasons to Not Shop at the Belden Village Boot Barn (or any location in person): 1) Customer service is not present unless you walk up to one of the two women that are running the huge store. 2) On top of that, the fitting rooms are always locked so you have force yourself to ask one of the two staff women (because there are no staff there who are men in this location) to be able to have it opened for you. 3) The store is more of a self-help company so you need to know your boot size before you enter the store (which I know sounds ridiculous of me but there used to be a time when store employees would help you find your shoe size with a special tool), & the seemingly endless selection of boots does not do anything but make a first time visitor feel overwhelmed. 4) There are no overhead signs in this location labeling where and what everything is compared to the majority of stores. 5) The few customers that do come in, give off the vibe that they are better than you and that you are unwelcome in “their store,” which the employees already do enough of from their lack of customer service since the employees are always looking and sounding as though they are busy even though the store is almost always empty. 6) There is no sign leading to the store and the height of the building is so short that it hides behind its surroundings, making it very difficult to locate. 7) The boot sizes and categories are not labeled very well to the point that only the employees know the system and when try to ask about it, they are snippy in their answers, making you feel guilty about being a customer. 8) You can only buy what you can carry in your hands since there are no shopping carts (which makes sense to a certain extent because there is not enough room for them to be used) or shopping baskets; the only way to be able to buy more is to bring another person with you. 9) The pricing of most items are very expensive - no further explanation needed for this one. 10) There is no room for you to put your winter coat or extra items that you have in your hand without having to put it on a chair that’s at the end of the boot shelves and walk away from it or by putting it on top of the clothes that are on the tables, which makes it difficult for other customers to see what’s underneath, so you feel the need to rush trying things on. 11) There is only one mirror in the entire store to try jackets on and they never keep it clean. 12) The belt section of the store is always a mess because the racks themselves are poorly designed, making it difficult for both the customers and employees."
