"I need a bridesmaid dress altered short noticc and she did an amazing job. It was velvet with boning in the bust and she made it fit perfectly. When I went to pick it up, way earlier than she told me to expect it, it wasn't to my liking and she went and adjusted it right then and there. It was great. "I would like to take a little time to post an on-line review of my recent experience with Mt. Airy Alterations in Cincinnati, OH. Back in the summer, I had purchased four dress slacks that I knew would need to have the length shortened. After having had two “not-so-good” experiences with other alteration services businesses, I did a Google search one recent Saturday afternoon and located Mt. Airy Alterations just a few miles from my house. I placed a call that Saturday afternoon, and Lynne (the owner) was able to set up an appointment for me to drop by in less than an hour. This would now be my third attempt to have these pants hemmed. What started out as pants “too long” had become “too short” by the time I reached out to Mt. Airy Alterations.” Lynne explained that she would have to add new fabric to extend the length of the pants. She suggested that she first complete just one pair of pants to make sure that I was satisfied before completing the other three pairs. I picked up the pants one week later (they were ready earlier). I want to say that the quality of workmanship was superb! Add to this an obvious and genuine care for her customers - along with a wonderful personality - and it is no surprise to me that when I looked at what other customers had posted, I saw that this business has a “five-star” rating.
