"Love this store such nice clothes and very friendly staff!"
"Tried to return a pair of jeans today (Jan 23rd) and she wouldn't do it because she said they looked a little faded. They were only worn once and sat in the bag for the next 3 weeks. She said I would have to come back to get a managers approval since she was the only one there. I mean.... you guys literally sell jeans with holes all in them so not sure what she was nagging about. So I just took them to a different Buckle and got my refund right away with no complaining or hassle. Lol"
"Buyers beware. After explaining in store that I had purchased two pairs of Buckle Black (jeggings) "jeans" as an alternative to buying KanKan jeans, which is what brought me to Buckle in the first place, I quickly realized upon wearing one of the two pairs that they were extremely stretchy, like jeggings, they were falling down on me and I was simply not happy with the fit at all. I explained how you could pull them down without undoing the button/zipper and so I needed to exchange them for a smaller size. The store employee asked if I was told that their jeans "stretch out." My answer was simply no. I spent the next hour picking out other jeans because this store did not have either of the two styles I had originally purchased. Upon checkout a manager who had just came on duty said she would not be able to exchange the pair that I had worn (not because I had worn them once, visibly new, no damage to them, simply a bad fit and quick decision to exchange them) because the exact style of jeans were not on the receipt that I had brought in. She said "I can probably guess what happened" meaning that the original store employee simply manually keyed in the jeans incorrectly and the manager at this store can't prove that I did NOT STEAL them, although, I'm only trying to exchange them for the same jeans, only smaller in addition to purchasing more clothing. The manager then says I can drive over an hour back to the original store to make the exchange because they may remember me (from 6 days earlier) or they can watch their security cameras to verify they were not stolen. On the receipt there were two jeans, almost identical in price ($89.99 and $86.99 both Buckle Black brand) and a sweater which I had left in my hotel room as I planned on wearing it later that evening with my newly exchanged jeans. After the store suggested I drive over an hour without a thought of calling the semi-local store herself, I really felt taken back that this is how this was being handled. The manner in which I was being made to feel like I had stolen something when I was trying to give them more of my money was nothing like I have ever experienced. At that moment I told the manager to just go ahead and return the pair of jeans that she could verify on the receipt and that I would handle this myself with their corporate office. After a few days of waiting on calls and trying to get in touch with their "Guest Services" I finally was able to speak to someone the following Monday while en route back to Canada (with the one ill fitting pair of jeans). The phone call was even more upsetting than before. Now the story has completely changed. It went from the jeans not being exchanged because they weren't "on the receipt" because there was no UPC attached to the jeans from the initial purchase (remember they were keyed in manually) to they would not return them because I had admitted to wearing them. Of course I wore them, how else would I know they didn't fit and stretch like jeggings not jeans? I explained all of this before trying on anything at the second location in West Chester. That was NEVER the reason I was given for being treated like a criminal not a customer. I ended the call after the "Guest Services" rep asked me if I had my receipt. Of course I do. I took everything I had into the store from my original purchase. She tells me to look at my receipt and flip it over to the back where she further tells me that if the jeans are worn they will not exchange them. Imagine how that made me feel after I have been dealing with this for four days now. At no point did anyone say I dd not have a receipt. Now, suddenly I could be an illiterate thief. I didn't explain my situation with the jeans to be embarrassed and jerked around in the store only to waste an absorbent amount of time in a place I will never spend another dollar. Since no one was able to resolve my issue in a reasonable manner I will continue to pursue this with the Better Business Bureau. Commissioning employees to sell clothing that they don't stand behind is unacceptable. Period."
"Since covid I've hated the shopping experience. Today my experience was beyond exceptional. Madison was so extremely polite and exceptionally helpful! Her co worker was so quick to help and out. This is club level service all the way! Way to go ladies thank you so much!!!"
