"Got a sandwich from here a few hours ago Tiny flat sandwich for $12, felt incredibly ripped off Sandwich was not good Guy served the sandwich, then I asked for it to be made to go. He HUFFED and puffed and rolled his eyes acting like a baby. There were no other customers so it wasnt like he was busy To the guy who served me: you act like a little baby girl"
"Ordered a sandwich and a pineapple soda. The sandwich is $12 and quite bland to be honest, and i am not sure how cuban it is as it doesn't taste anything special. The soda costs $3 and is kind a flat. I am definitely disappointed."
"Their Cuban sandwich is huge. It tasted too much sour. The turkey and fat makes it more flavorful. It could be better by adding more fat and removing some pickles."
"Stopped in here for some sandwiches. They were okay. Got the veggie which is sautéed green peppers and onions and a Cubano. Bread hardened up pretty quickly after taking them home. Definitely won’t return."
"I’m Cuban, this is delicious Cuban food! But with a small caveat… My family is all Cuban, from Cuba. I grew up in Miami, Florida so naturally I eat a lot of Cuban food with my family. The Cuban sandwich is as close to authentic as there is in Columbus, BUT it’s not “true” Cuban bread. It’s very close and no one would know the difference unless you REALLY know, but not the true bread. The sandwich, tostones and croquetas were delicious! Pork was good but a little bland, could use a little more citrus and salt the two times I tried it. Truly great food and makes me proud to see my culture represented so well! But the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the highway robbery prices for the croquetas. They charge $10 for 4 which is downright insulting. I’ve made croquetas many times in my life, they’re not a 30 second task but they don’t use any expensive ingredients, are not difficult to make, are not time really consuming and NOT worth $2.50 a single croqueta. Let me clarify by saying Pablo’s has some of the best I’ve ever had, but in Miami we’d get them for .25 cents a piece. Sure, we’re not in Miami. I’m willing to pay a little premium for them here, but not that much. I’d buy them by the 100 if they were 50-$1.00 a piece. It’s truly insulting to charge that much for something so simple and not a dish, but a side. So, you should DEFINITELY try Pablo’s. It makes me proud to FINALLY have some quality Cuban food in Columbus! But Pablo’s, be more reasonable with the prices of the croquetas. More people need to have them but the price is a turn off."
