"Took my family for dinner, tried brisket, pulled pork, mac n cheese, and baked beans. It was all delicious! The meat was so tender. I highly recommend the horseradish sauce with the brisket! He just sold out of the ribs so we'll be back a tad earlier next time! Bravo!"
"Absolutely delicious food and great service! Try all the meats! All the sides are delicious but the beans are my favorite. The smoker goes all night for fresh and authentic BBQ. While all sauces were good, I prefer the mustard! The cabin ambience was quaint and casual."
"First time visit and we were blown away by the quality of the food and the flavor of each item. The brisket and ribs were outstanding, but we were shocked at how good the green beans and german potato salad were. Highly recommend everyone try this place for delicious food, great service, and supporting a local business owner."
"What a great experience. The food was so good. The chef turned out to be the owner and is a wizard. I will return. On top of having delicious brisket and ribs. The chef offered me a turkey leg to be a tester. Best test ever."
"I stopped in on a whim running errands up and down US-23. I couldn’t have been more impressed. I was met by Mike the owner and he was the only one in the place. On his recommendation, I tried one of their meat boxes where I got a half pound of brisket with two sides and then also ordered a side of burnt ends, because why not? From the mac & cheese and baked beans to the different meats and their three different sauces I am beyond thrilled that I stopped in to find this little hidden gem. Especially as the north side of Columbus becomes more and more commercialized and developed, being able to find a little mom and pop place like this that does it right with old-school methods and a taste that can’t be rushed or faked. The quality of the food and overall experience was equaled only by the warmth of the greeting and conversation I had with Mike while I enjoyed one hell of a lunch. Thanks for doing what you do, Mike and I’ll be sure to be back with friends!"
