"I visited this shop for the first time on my recent trip to GOTL and absolutely loved it! Such a hidden gem! The owner was a delight to talk to and she has obviously taken the time to curate items that she found beautiful. I had only planned to browse, but prices were so good that I walked out with a beautiful antique mirror, a lovely teal Empoli compote, and an incredible 18” Empoli vase. Other items were tempting as well, so it’s safe to say I will return as soon as I head to the Lake next spring! PS- Take cash if you go, as no credit cards are accepted."

"Beware of shopping at this establishment. My wife and I saw a cute chest in the store. Price was marked $50. We asked the cashier who verified the price. Unfortunately we were not in a vehicle to take the chest so we told her we would return. Two weeks later we return and the chest is still there, we were so excited. However the chest had a tag that on one side said $50 and the other $150. We questioned the cashier who called the owner who then told us that the $50 was a mistake and would not honor the price. The owner wouldn't even haggle between the price and was annoyed we were even asking. I hate giving bad reviews but I have no choice here. Never have I dealt with a store owner who was so ridiculous. It was her error in pricing but she made me feel like I was in the wrong and then wouldn't compromise. Beware in this store! The price listed is NOT the price you pay. And the owner is too prudish to admit her mistake and compromise. Personally we will not shop her ever again and we love coming to GOTL. There are plenty of good shops to spend your money."

"People keep listing this place as permanently closed. It's not! It's just only open in the summer. They have quite a large stockpile of random and vintage antiques from quite a whiles back for affordable prices, even though it's difficult to price some of these mysterious items..."
