"Cashier had duped me into getting a credit card. Normally I get discounts added at the checkout without any strings attached. Now I'm getting a credit card in the mail without being notified as to what I was getting. I was kind of mad that they did that to me. They should warn every customer that their savings comes with a credit card instead of surprising them with one. Now I'm stuck with another line of credit for 7 years. Thanks lady!"
"I like some of the clothing selection. The dressing rooms need updated though because they tend to be dingy and a little dirty. The staff is always nice and helpful."
"I went there before Christmas 3 weeks stood in line for 20 min new girl have problems with cashier I h as d to stop a floor manager and beg him to help her which he did and problem sound why she couldn’t f d o that. Now it Jan 3 I’m returning a few items went to Kohl’s first they had 5 lines open in returns took 10 min fast efficient and got my money with no receipt went over to dreadful JCPenney and 6 people in line only ONE girl at desk One girl I left I’ll never shop here again ever worst store no wonder it’s closing"
"Always decent prices at JC Penny, but I don't understand why these department stores don't just charge the sale price all the time. In stead they put a $180 price tag on a coat, for example, and then put it on sale for $80 after no ones willing to pay full price. You'd think they'd sell more of them if they just put them at the discounted price in the first place and just move more merchandise."
"One of my favorite places to shop for shoes, clothes and housewares! They always have great sales and I live the fit of their clothing brands. The employees are very helpful and friendly. If you have their credit card and a rewards membership (free), you get bonus coupons throughout the year. They are also really fair with returns as well, especially if you have your receipt."
