"Great store for low prices and great variety that changes all the time. Friendly and helpful staff. Organized and clean. Love this place."
"Kids grow fast and this is one of the best places to go to buy for em especially for the coats/hoodies. I also like coming here to get some quick leggings for my daughter and I.. I always find something."
"Update: Thanks for the response but what are going to do about it? So often customers leave reviews and the company responds nicely and professionally such as this, but what does that do? Nothing ever changes and it's the same sub par customer service as it always was. When do we actually see results from the actual complaint? Or for that matter, what are you going to do to not lose a customer? as I told you would happen in this situation. I don't see any mention of "we don't want to lose a valuable customer so let us rectify it by blah blah blah....". Honestly, this is a pathetic response... also, what do Burlington "rewards" even do? There is literally zero benefit that I have ever seen from being a reward member.. I shop here a LOT. Some of the workers are usually pretty friendly. But the key word here is "some". The rest, act as if customers are in there way and just generally annoyed that there are customers in the store at all. The other night, was the icing on the cake for me and I will not go back. I was shopping in the store for over an hour and noticed on my way to checkout, that I had fraud on my card and was forced to shut my card off immediately. Being that I already had a cart full of items that I genuinely needed to buy for Christmas gifts, I went to the front to explain the situation and ask that they hold my things for not even 12 hours until the following morning when I would be able to send my son with money to pick it up for me. After waiting 10 minutes for the manager (Holly) to address me (granted she was helping other customers at first so that I totally understand, but then proceeded to walk away after helping them. After I explained everything, I was told that they could do this for me but "couldn't guarantee that everything would be there still in the morning because someone else might not know what it is and put it away." Which is whatever, i said fine- my main concern is these items (3 items) that I definitely wanted to be sure that would be held for me. They took my name and said it shouldn't be a problem. Given that it's the holiday season and I work a lot and don't have a lot of time, I was super thankful and assured them someone would be there first thing in the morning. After leaving, I thought I might as well just go get cash out of the ATM and go back. Not even 20 minutes later, I returned with cash to purchase everything I initially had picked out. When I approached the front, I was told that manager Holly had taken all off my stuff to put back out on the floor.... within 20 minutes. So. I went and looked for the main 3 things that I wanted, and took them back up to the front with Holly yelling from across the store, oh here's the rest of your stuff in the cart! At that point I was beyond irritated and said no thanks and purchased the items I needed. Honestly if I hadn't of been so desperate and crunched for time, I would have left and not purchased any of it. Her excuse was that "corporate was coming in the morning so they had to clean up". Does corporate also condone horrible customer service because that was ridiculous. Honestly, if my son had gone back the next day to get the stuff and THEN it was just being put back, I would have understood. But literally 20 minutes after reassuring me, she didn't keep her word. As much as I shop here, this is the first time I've seen this manager, but because of her, I will not go back. Is it really too much to ask for to help people out a little during the holiday season? Especially after I was obviously already dealing with a bit of a stressful situation with my card having fraudulent charges, I would expect the manager to have a little grace in that situation. I've worked in customer service my entire life. Without customers, your company is nothing. It doesn't take much effort to go a little above and beyond for loyal customers and treat them with the same respect that employees expect from the public as well."
