"They're very helpful in Madison the counselor is awesome She goes above and beyond in this secretary She is very helpful and kind and the nurse Brittany is very respectful of others and she gives good shots She makes us laugh and she's kind and thoughtful"
"the woman i got paired up with is so kind and absolutely amazing. i’ve only had one appointment so far but she has helped me tremendously. i’m so glad i decided to go through ohio guidestone, they are genuinely wonderful people. i know a lot of people tend to leave bad reviews and don’t receive the help they need, but in all reality it’s about being paired up with the right fit. counselors, therapists, and even psychologists, don’t always fit best. sometimes you have to keep searching for the help you need. not everyone can help in certain ways, not even if they have a degree in the subject. don’t stop looking for help if you need it, it’s out there, you just have to be willing to find it; it took me 5 years to find the right fit."
"It took me 3 yrs to admit I needed help w grief I have the best support from here than any other counseling"
"this place is a joke. i would give zero stars if i could. refused to transfer my medical records on time when they were needed for medication. requested them at least five times and never received them. this was in JULY. was told to keep a log of my calories to help with a potential eating disorder. counselor constantly talked about herself. could tell you basically any personal info about her. cannot say she could do the same for me. all of my problems were pushed off. counselor refused to ask probing questions and instead asked “how is school going” when i was clearly having an extreme depressive episode and expressed concerning feelings. made out to seem crazy at every appointment. finally decided to see a new counselor only to find out i needed a referral from her supervisor. never received a call from said supervisor. have gone about three months without any counseling services now. also might i just say this is my SECOND experience with this office. my first visit when i was around 17-18 was just as horrible. finally recovered from how awful that was and decided to seek out help again. was more than disappointed this time. can truly say i am worse off now than when i started. Do not come here."
"Both of my children receive counseling services here. On August 3rd 2021 I stopped at the office and requested copies of both of my childrens records. Two weeks later my son's counselor asked me why I wanted them. When the records came to my house they had the letter there with my reasoning written at the top, this was in the counselor's handwriting not mine. I was told it would take 30 days to get the records. My son's counselor slowed those 30 days down by 2 weeks. My daughter's counselor never turned it in or the receptionist never turned it in. I called the Cleveland office they have no record of me requesting my daughter's records. My son's counselor is Christina. He has been seeing her for almost a year. I went through the records and read where progress was made regression or not made. There were 13 records of no progress made, one record of regression and two of making progress. Sometimes my son sees his counselor twice a month or once a month. So with the amount of time that my son sees his counselor there are far too many no progress made. I've known this for a while, yet my children's mother still keeps them going there the counseling is not effective. Plus not to mention the counselors used to use the text message system, group chat or not to notify me and my children's mother as to when the appointments are. On September 3rd I messaged both Christina and my daughter's counselor Camille. I was asking when their next appointments were. I have not gotten a response and today is September 11th 2021. Shortly after my children started receiving services here the counselors became very chatty with Mom and would not notify me of anything. I know my children's mom used the counseling services just for a paper trail and legal for court. I do not think the services offered by this place are effective. Could just be me but maybe I'm too as the counselors put it "rough around the edges"."
