"If you want to get a divers license, I’d recommend avoiding this shop. I paid for the training, took the class and passed, but couldn’t afford to do the open water dive at the time. I put it off until I was able to afford it. When I was able to afford to finish and get my license, I called the shop and they told me I need a refresher since it’s been a year since I took the class. Okay that’s fine, I’ll take a refresher. 7 months of calling and trying to get something scheduled, I have given up. They will not give me the refresher they told me I need, so I can take my open water dive. I cannot go anywhere else and take a refresher, either. It has to be the shop you took the class at. So I either have to go to another shop and pay for another class, or just not get my license. All in all, this shop is by far the worst shop I’ve ever had the displeasure of being involved with. They took my money, and won’t let me do anything to get my license without paying for another class at another shop."

"I've gone to Underwater World for many years and they have always been very helpful. I was already certified but I've seen their indoor heated pool and couldn't imagine a better place to learn. Someone mentioned Walmart and I wanted to make a comment. If you want quality dive gear this is a great place to purchuse especially if you need advice. I got certified almost 40 years ago with hundreds of open water dives. Trust me, when you're on a 100' night dive, you want the right gear. Listen to the pros and dive safe."

"I don't know what the negative reviewers are speaking to. My wife and I are going through certification classes here right now, I was certified as a Junior Diver, and think the instructors and staff here are awesome. We are finding this an amazingly enjoyable, date-night, experience and frankly they are more knowledgeable than my junior diver instructors. We are really enjoying our time spent in these certification classes! I would advise anyone to not listen to the negative reviews and give them a try!"
