Reviews of Heights Canine
"Great Experience with Heights Canine. Facility is professional and very clean. Staff went above and beyond taking care of our four dogs. They are very prompt, polite, and professional both on the phone and in person. Will highly recommend them! Thank you again!"
"A place that doesn’t answer their phones. Called multiple times to try to get my dog a reservation for Friday daycare and no one answered the phones. I decide to call in the morning, no answer, then I decide to try going in the morning to see if there are any spots and I arrive at 7:02. All lights are off in the facility, no cars in the parking lot. A couple minutes later a staff member arrives. She stated I needed to call and have a reservation for Friday daycare and they are full. This isn’t the first time we have tried to get in contact with heights canine and they don’t answer their phone. There has been a time where I was in the lobby waiting to get my dog and no one would come to the front desk. I was calling the company while standing inside the lobby trying to get someone’s attention. I now know that this facility has no staff for overnight boarding. This is something I’m not comfortable with. It seems like they do not have proper staffing to run this facility."
"We LOVE Heights Canine so very much. We have a very anxious dog (Choppy!) who can be reactive when out on walks on the leash to other dogs and humans. She absolutely loves Heights Canine and she is very well behaved there with the dogs and staff. The staff are so attentive and wonderful they make her feel safe and secure. She boards, goes to day care and has completed the board and train program. She has gotten SO much better!! My spouse and I say on a regular basis, "What would we do without Heights Canine?!?" I can't say enough good things."
"My dog that is only 20lbs was mangled by a very large dog while I was out of town. They didn’t care for him as if he were there dog. They didn’t take him to the vet to be checked out. He had bite marks all around his neck and I was told that it was just a scratch. There were multiple scabs. Each picture is from a different bite. But I was told they examined him fully, when I made them aware of the other marks their response was “We didn’t see that.” But he was examining fully right??? Very disappointed in the service we received!! I’m sure if one of their dogs were attacked they would have taken it to the vet to be seen and get a Tetanus shot. THEY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER REFERRAL FROM US!!!"
"I took my dog, Hank (a DDR/Czech working line GSD) to David and the good people at Heights Canine when he was 4 months old. We started with their basic obedience and within 3 months had finished it and their off leash program. We went once a week for an hour and left with homework for the following week that David held me accountable for completing before our next class. Each week I felt like I took home a completely different dog because of how vastly he improved his behavior after each hour at HC. Because of the time and work that we all put in, and because of David's incredibly high level of expertise, Hank is now a 16 month old (85 lb already), high energy dog that's easy to get a long with. Not only does HC's program help you out while you are in class, but it also gives you the confidence, basic understanding, and ability to continue to progress after you leave. Lastly, I have also taken Hank for overnight boarding at HC and I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my dog. For a little bit extra I had David and his staff work with Hank on a few small things and they also made sure that he got plenty of exercise! There are few companies that I would bother to review online, but I cannot speak highly enough of Heights Canine. I am hoping to get Hank back in for some more classes in the near future as well!"
