"I've taken my doodle here about 4 times and have been very happy with the grooming and they listen to how we like him to look. My favorite thing is that my Pup is only there a maximum of around 2hours and not sitting in a cage for hours like other places."
"The best groomer around. Lydia has been grooming our Yorkie mix for 4 years. From the very first time we took her, we explained what we wanted and she cut her perfectly! And the best is .Lydia doesn’t keep your dog all day! She is only there as long as it take to shampoo and cut and dry. We love Lydia’s Pet Grooming and would never trust our pet to anyone else!"
"First the good: The shop is easy to find due to her signage. She is located in a very busy area so it's not tough to find her. Lydia was very pleasant and was able to groom my puppy on the same day I called. She seems to have adequate staffing who seems to really enjoy what they do. Now the bad: this was the first and last time I will use this establishment for my grooming needs. I took in my puppy for grooming and when I saw her, I was so upset. We asked Lydia, my pup's groomer, to trim the puppy up, trim between her hind legs, cut my puppy's beard, and trim her nails. This establishment did not remove the beard, and they clearly didn't wash my pups face, or trim it. My pup produces rears so anyone can see the tear marks. I was there when my pup was done and I could plainly see tear marks. Those take time to form which told me, her face was never washed. The hair on her body are all kinds of different lengths. Her face looks terrible due to this establishment's inability to groom correctly. I am very disappointed with what I paid for. To make this even worse, Lydia trash talked another local business. I had never met her before and she must have thought that it was was perfectly ok to trash talk someone I had never met. That, in my humble opinion, was very unprofessional. Then she proceeded to argue with me about the frequency my pup should be bathed. I follow my vet's advice and I didn't appreciate her trying to undermine my vet. The photo with the tan blanket is her after photo and the other one is her before photo. I'm very disappointed. And the groomer came recommended by a few people."
"I am incredibly dissatisfied by this groomer because she clearly doesn't know how to groom double coated breeds, cannot or will not follow client requests, and does a terrible hack job on top of it. We're never going back and I don't reccemend anyone using this grooming service. I recently took my dog to this groomer. When I made the appointment I gave her information about the breed and size of my dog. She's got a double coat and the vet has told me to make sure that when I get her groomed to let them know that because doubled coated dogs cannot be sheared or else if could permanently damage the coat. My husband dropped off our dog for her appointment and talked with the owner. She had not written down the information I had given her over the phone so my husband reiterated and told her what kind of grooming we were looking for and confirmed that shears were not to be used. All we wanted was a trim to clean her up. When we picked up our normally fluffy Eskie mix she had been sheared all over and lost inches from her coat. On top of that the haircut was extremely choppy and looked incredibly unprofessional. She has lost so much fur from her coat she's shivering when I take her outside."
"So glad to find Lydia in her new, larger space on Leavitt Road. My ten year old dachshund is not always an easy client but Lydia quickly had Sid eating out of her hand, literally. Clean space, licensed professional groomer, easy to book with Lydia being very accommodating to clients schedule. Wouldn’t go anywhere else."
