A Foundation of Faith

"I came to therapy broken, grieving the loss of my husband with severe depression. Esam is honest, easy to talk with, and a great listener who hears me while providing a safe space. He challenges my thoughts to prevent negative thinking and loneliness, giving me tools to use between sessions. I asked God to help me find a good Catholic therapist, which he did. My sessions are Christ-centered and on my faith, bringing me joy and peace. He is willing to pray with me before sessions, which helps tremendously, especially at more difficult times. My life has changed for the positive in the past ten months with a positive outlook, not allowing the negative thoughts to overtake how I feel.
