Reviews of Daily Behavioral Health
"This place is disgusting. First they promised us full time ABA with no therapist to fulfill the promise instead they sent a supervisor or so she calls herself. She doesn’t even know her own title nor identifies herself upon entering your home. She cancelled whenever she could and very obviously did not want to work with my daughter. They push center hours on your child where they are secluded in a room with a therapist they expect you to not even want to meet first. The center is a run down old church with hardly any kids. They get NO background on your child, and judge you the instant you meet them. Upon arriving at my home for the initial assessment the supervisor asked me if I have care-source Medicaid, I work for the leading hospital in the area and have the employee health plan…. Then we are ghosted for several weeks as the supervisor said she was taking a new position. We finally got a text saying they had a therapist for my daughter. A girl who looked like she was 18 years old showed up to my house where she did not even introduce herself and again asked nothing about my daughter. She left a Starbucks hot coffee on my living room floor that my daughter picked up luckily I was there to stop her. After they left my house I got a call from the supervisor saying the girl did not feel safe in my neighborhood. The supervisor also adds that more importantly the girls dad didn’t want her in my neighborhood. We live on the West side of Cleveland in a nice clean home in a working class neighborhood and our neighbor 5 houses down drives a Tesla… sounds really dangerous and poverty stricken to me. Having a special needs child is hard enough without judgmental 20 something year olds who are fresh out of school making you feel judged. I am truly sorry for any child who is ever left in these peoples care."
"A lack of communication from Ashley send messages through email or phone wouldn’t get a response until a week or two later or even longer sometimes asking questions that never got answered would have understood if that was something that they could not do but me not getting a response was a problem and then switching the ABA therapist so many times started to get irritating because my son needed a routine with only the people he was picked for at the beginning starting and ABA therapist and then take them away just was all over the place it was like starting over and my son having to get used to another ABA therapist my son had two great ABA therapist that we’re getting him to do a lot of things that I was not able to teach him but they got snatched from him right when he was starting to really catch on to things the lack of communication with the supervisor setting up the appointments was just so unprofessional. No problems with the ABA therapist that we’re coming into my Home to teach him independence. And the way I found out that they were going to just walk away from my son’s case is through the mail instead of the owner coming to talk directly to me in finding out exactly what was going on. I would never refer anyone else to this company I was referred to them and they said they were a wonderful company, sometimes you need to take the time and talk to the patient’s family and your supervisors to see how they are actually doing and if there is some problems. I wish you guys all the best I hope you can fix the problems that you are having."
"What a wonderful, loving practice! Cara and her staff are gifted at working with autistic kids all while sharing the love of Christ. A+++!"
"Having worked with DBH through a number of students I am always happy with how professional they are and how much they care about the children!"
"When reviewing, providers need to be what your child needs are. There are a couple of hands on workers who does excellent job. Scott, Traci they are truly great. There are a few more unfortunately my son isn't assign . Office staff has majot turn over not so dependable as one would like . One thing don't be out spoken , owner Cara which I hardly have seen in the 11months feels very uncomfortable with parents . My son has been going daily 5 days a week . All of suddenly I was told he can no longer attend . Why ? The insurance doesn't cover it. But he also had the scholarship which they have taken . Being a parent I have the right to ask questions , and also have the right to be bitter angry . They don't care what they do to a austic child . Very sad . The owner send the messenger co workers to do her job . She doesn't want to handle this she wants the parents to do her job. Telling me to be my son advocate I do this everyday of his life . Call the insurance when I am not the provider so she can collect . Very mess up situation. So don't ask questions don't get mad or upset , what they did to myself and a 12 yr austic child was beyond wrong on all levels. There is excellent workers that do awesome job , simply not the owner when it comes to parents. At the end my son suffers the most only to hear we don't care ."
