"I think it's honestly great that we are reviewing this place. I saw more reviews about Mrs. Vanessa from activities. She is absolutely a God send. The nurses up front wasn't paying attention to me and Vanessa was working her butt off still stopped and asked me if I needed help, to which I needed to know what room to go to and she took me right there with a smile on her face! She's the reason for getting 5 stars, and I hope she sees this, and if she does, Mrs Vanessa, you are doing wonderful. Thank you for being so kind! I hope you get recognized for your help and generosity!"
"Had the best experience. My boyfriends first day was today, upon visiting him the lady at the front desk her name is vanessa she is with the activity department greeted me with a smile and asked if I knew where I was going, I told her that I didn't and she took me right too him! She asked me how my day was going, if I needed anything then asked my boyfriend the same thing! She was such a doll baby, so friendly even cra ked some jokes for us! She was a blessing to be around. I saw a couple more reviews about her and wanted to share my input about her as well!! She is super friendly, so if you get the chance to meet Vanessa from the activity department, you will love her! She's is truly the sweetest person!"
"The activity aid, Vanessa, adds such a happy vibe to the atmosphere here. She is absolutely the sweetest and cares so much for her job. Truly a blessing to the establishment!"
"I would never give them even 1 star if I didn't have to. Please, if you have a loved one, never put them here. My sister went in in great shape. Could walk great. Went to the bathroom on her own. Just needed weaning off the trach. The place was filthy. The had a cooler they put ice in and you just dipped a cup in and got ice. It was accessible to any mobile patient. My sister contracted bacterial pneumonia within a few days. We did not know what was wrong but we kept begging them to do something as she kept getting sicker and sicker. They just kept telling us her chest xray was clear and bloodwork was good. We finally insisted they sent her to the ER. She had pnuemonia, congestive heart failure and many other life threatening issues. The Nurse Practioner at The Pavillion and the RNs there should have seen thos but they would have let her die. She is in a trauma center, back on a ventilator fighting for her life. Please, don't send a loved one there."
"Now that she is finally out of there, I can post this without fear of her being mistreated. If you have enemies or anyone you REALLY don’t like, I suggest you send them to Pavilion at Piketon! My mom was there for a little over 2 weeks with absolutely the worst care. I witnessed the nurses giving her medication then telling her it was something different, dirty doesn’t even describe how the facility is and they lack basic morals. I sat in her room last week for 1 1/2 hours while her call light was on. No one came. The air vent next to her bed was full of dirt, dust and mold. She couldn’t put her things in the nightstand size dresser because it was broken and nasty. They never changed her sheets, I had to request them and do it myself. They never gave her a shower, offered her one or even tried to assist. The staff is condescending and rude, 90% of the time. They didn’t even have a pulse oximeter that worked properly, to get her stats. Oh and they have a TV sitting on the sink, which I’m pretty sure is a code violation of some sort. I’ve had 3 meetings with them over their lack of competence in 2 weeks. If you can’t run a facility for people who need cared for, you’re obviously in the wrong business. Anytime I would talk about transferring her, they would either brush it off or treat me as if I’m stupid and don’t know how to conduct the transfer through insurance. Well today, they picked the wrong one. I’m glad I finally got her moved somewhere, where they will actually care for her. Not just let her die on the C-Wing."
