"Kristen is a great technician - fixed my computer when no one else could. Great job. Jena is the best aide. She goes beyond her normal duties. Wish we had 10 just like her."
"The activity department works together and does a great job encouraging participation. Always new ideas and new experiences like bread making. They make it feel like a neighborhood and community."
"Only reason I’m giving a star is to leave this review otherwise it would have none!!!! This place is a joke. Call lights left on for over 45 minutes and not even the DON will check on anyone. The administrator is a joke and acts like he doesn’t wanna handle bad situations because he’s too scared. The nursing supervisor is rude and disrespectful. I also asked the activity director when my mom stayed there if she would give her a menu so she could get out of her room she acted like she didn’t even want to and we popped into the restaurant for lunch and I heard one of the activity girls in the back saying how they hate serving people from the rehab side and all the other one did was sit on her phone. Disrespectful girls. So unprofessional and ridiculous. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY. Nursing, activities, housekeeping at this place is a joke!!!!!!!"
"*******Be Aware******* This place almost killed my Father This place is absolutely horrendous. They have thugs off the streets as nurses, aides, and even supervisors. The director of the facility seems to be scared to deal with issues brought to his attention. Medicare, the insurance company, and The State Of Ohio have been notified. Nurses and Aides park in handicapped parking places, they have no handicap sticker or plates. They laughed about it getting out of their cars bragging on how those are their parking spots. This was brought to Bill’s attention and it continued for another week. I was cussed out by a supervisor because I told her they were doing my Father’s medication incorrectly. They give medication when the force hits them instead of on a schedule. Wrong doses, have no clue what’s sliding scale is for insulin. And other woman’s medication list was sent with the ambulance to the hospital instead of my Father’s. Covid was running rampant in his wing, no isolation, no masks, no gloves. My Father ended up getting Covid while in the facility. The staff let my Father lay in his bed with vital checks once per night. He literally sounded like he was drowning, I requested he be taken to the hospital. By the time he got there he had sepsis, had a seizure, Covid Pneumonia, mucus plugging, he de-compensated and we almost lost him. Bill acts like he will help and deal with problems but it isn’t happening. Someone needs to investigate this facility from top to bottom and to be honest, it really should be shut down until corrected. Start the investigation offsite at the top of CareSpring and then proceed to the facility…….."
"The staff was polite to patient’s families but would say cruel things to the patients, made patients feel like they were burdens, spoke negatively and cruelly about patients in hallways, did not check in on patients routinely with genuineness or kindness, and overall the facility was messy. There was a cup that they let sit on a shelf in the hallway for over 2.5 weeks and it started to mold. My grandmother would tell us what she had heard them say and what they had said to her but then would beg us not to say anything because she feared what would happen to her once we left. My grandmother had tried to tell them she was having trouble swallowing and they didn’t listen. When this place was with the previous owners, it was a much much better facility, but since it has switched hands it has gone downhill. Please avoid this place if at all possible, and if you can’t, try to have a guest with your loved one during the entirety of visiting hours (which the patients were allowed to have a guest 24/7) so as to prevent your loved one from suffering the same treatment as my grandmother received. My grandmother said she dreaded the night because there are only two staff for 20 patients and that if she couldn’t breathe that no one would respond promptly because they always dragged their feet to do their job."
