"All in all she did more harm to our oldest Son than good, I am having difficulty with him even trying another therapist considering how rude and unprofessional this Therapist was. He will not trust the process. Our youngest Son tried her but refused to go back. However, we found someone else who has helped him leaps and bounds. So there are very good ones out there. She might work for some but not for us. The billing system is HORRIBLE and very expensive."
"I am shocked at how horribly rude and unprofessional this person is. I don't understand how someone in this field can speak to others the way that she did."
"EDIT: More information developed since yesterday. She claimed the caseworker kept calling her and that she didn't even answer when they called anymore. It has been verifiably confirmed via phone records that there was only one call placed to her in which she refused to fill out a much needed form. She also told them she was going to drop my mother all together (again just days before recommending upping appointments to twice a week) Two visits in and my mother is worse off than ever. -She cursed at my mother because she was receiving phone calls (not from my mother but another professional) to fill out paperwork. -Asserted that my mother thought she was more important than her suicidal patients because she needed paperwork filled out. -She stressed that she did not have enough time to do any sort of paperwork, but oddly enough had enough time to increase visits to twice a week once she found out my mother had two insurances and that all visits would be paid for. *Side note* She does charge a fee for paperwork (as most medical professionals do) so its not like she is doing unpaid work. -Told my mother that she did not want to talk about her day-to-day or week-to-week problems or how they affect her -Tried to feed my mother a concoction of glycerin, water, and "flower essences" pushing it off as some sort of miracle cure (some sort of placebo?) . She made sure to tell her that it was not actually medicine as she is not allowed to administer medication. My mother has been making great progress these past few months and years towards overcoming her PTSD, depression, and anxiety. After dealing with Dana I am afraid its back to square one."
"Dana did an amazing job helping my adopted son make huge life progress! She is professional; kind; and patient, yet direct when necessary. EMDR is an amazing tool and Dana brings many years of experience and insight to partner with it."
"She did well talking with my daughter, but the way pay system is all messed up. It should be one set price. I didn't receive a bill until a couple months later and what she said I owed and what ins said were completely different. She didn't give me a chance to make payments and threatened to take me to small claims court. Then without my permission took out the full amount on my debit card and said that was cheaper then small claims!"
