"Listen I’ve seen a lot of hate comments but I just don’t understand those. This food was 10/10 and the service was quick and she kept up with our needs. The new chef gary was great he came over to speak to us and was darling. They even brought out dessert for my friends birthday. I’d say you should definitely give this place a try. Clean environment too."

"My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this fabulous historical restaurant. This restaurant has a lot of history dating back to the 1840’s and we like that. The food was delicious. The service was Amazing. The decor is beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"My daughter and I were there for dinner and a spa service, and an overnight stay. The staff were nice, with the exception of the owner, Joanne who was not responsive at all to our horrendous dinner experience...We had a dinner reservation made well in advance. It took literally an hour and 20 minutes to receive our meal which was supposed to be scallops and risotto. The price $42.00 each. There were supposed to be four scallops, but they only gave us three " because they were larger" .. the risotto was raw and literally was sitting in a bowl of water. The meal came with no bread, vegetable or salad which we had to order ala carte. When we complained to our waitress, she said the owner said she was " tired of people complaining" , she stated that the owner does not comp anyone for anything, and offered no substitutions or solutions of any kind. So after an hour and a half we left hungry and very disappointed. The entire place, spa rooms, hotels rooms, lobby etc were very very outdated, and have obviously not been updated or decorated since the 1980's... We will never return."

"Absolutely the most beautiful historical location I’ve ever stayed at !!!! Love the stairwell that leads upstairs to the service rooms, It’s all original, and still creeks a little bit when you walk upstairs it’s fabulous just imagine the history of cowboys that walked up the steps !!!!! I guess it was a stagecoach stop originally, Very cool history !!! Oh, and the Christmas decorations oh my gosh everybody needs to visit the cabin that’s the restaurant and that was actually amazing !! I just could go on and on, but I will tell you this is a 10 star location, especially if you can history , I must visit for those have not ‘n"

"Unfortunately this spa is run down and the staff is over worked and over booked. The experience is not great and you feel rushed and unwelcome. Services are at least 10-30 minutes behind and you can tell the technicians are tired/ not putting a lot of effort into your service. I always have high hopes for this charming place but it hasn’t changed at all over the years. The restaurant never has anyone there & the food is not great. I would just save your money because you will leave disappointed."
