Reviews
"I was disgusted with my stay, and it was all due to the staff and "welcome" crew they have at check in. So many beautiful campgrounds, I would avoid this one."
"Genuinely would suggest staying at MANY of the other campgrounds in the area and avoiding Countryside. Not much in the way of amenities or even clean bathrooms. Owners seemed to be lazy and rude."
"Staying here was wonderful! We were close to Cuyahoga which was a plus. Navigating the campgrounds was easy, everyone was friendly and the staff were very helpful. Electric and water hookups on our individual site and the showers were comfortable to use. Would absolutely stay here again!"
"We stayed two nights in August (Sat/Sun) as we were passing through, on a road trip. We wanted a full hook up, but they only had water/electric. The office people were not very warm / welcoming, and they seemed to want to get everyone out of the office really fast. We later saw that there were some activities at the campground on the nights we were there (we saw everyone going to the rec area), but no one at the office had told us about anything. It seems this campground is run with only the seasonal / permanent people in mind. The campground is built on a steep hill with facilities (rec room, bathrooms/showers, office, pool) and many sites at the top of the hill, with a few sites at the bottom of the hill. Pros: The grounds are pretty and well kept up. The pool is clean and there are shady places to sit around the pool in addition to a small pavilion at the pool, which you can sit in to watch your children in complete shade. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are clean and very nice. Lots of things for kids and families to do. The laundry room is clean with everything you need. The dog park is large and shady. There are lots of TV channels with antenna. The WIFI is solid. Con: If you are in a site in the lower part of the campground down the hill, you really don’t feel part of the campground at all. You have to walk up a steep hill to get anywhere or do anything (showers, bathrooms, pool, rec hall, store). The sites at the top of the hill are close to all activities (Sites 25-71 and Pull Through sites 1-8). We could have done without climbing a steep hill in the August heat to use the facilities. It also should be noted that some of the sites in the lower part of the campground have no sewer hookups. This is a nice campground, but it wasn’t for us mostly because it was built on a steep hill."
"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience. The campground was very clean. Everyone was super friendly. Great location for fishing. The only downside was the pool. It was overcrowded and a bit small. Otherwise- it’s a great place to camp and we will definitely return!!!"
