"I currently requested my medical records for all of fisher titus because I plan on doing a living kidney donation to a family member. Although I was wanting to send specific information from a different office, I was scrolling through my history and stumbled upon my very small time I was a patient at womens health in milan and seen Heather Robinson. I had an absolute horrible experience, and even considered going to the newspaper to share my story, but for the sake of moving on I decided not to. As I am reading these notes from my appointments I am livid. I was seen for 3 separate appointments and I would like to note the biggest issue I have is the fact that she only took notes for the last appointment. In those notes she "refered" to things discussed and done in other appointments. I went to their office because I was referred their by my family doctor. From the beginning I told her that my long time boyfriend and I were trying to get pregnant and were having issues. I let her know that we were trying for 3.5 years with no luck. I also explained to her that I have always had abdominal pain and discomfort and was told by other providers that it is most likely endometriosis. She did a pap exam and asked lots of questions and went through my current medications. We discussed that I was on medicine for anxiety and depression, which is noted, but then goes on to say that PATIENT DENIES ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION. First red flag. She then makes a comment saying that I did feel slightly inflamed (excuse me if that wasn't the exact word) and for that reason wanted to schedule an ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound. I came in for those and then they scheduled me another appointment to go over my results. When I came in for results they said that everything came back fine, to which I got emotional because of the fact that I knew it was not and I wanted some answers. So then I go on to question why I was having such a hard time getting pregnant. Which is when she explains to me that the head doctor of the office (dr dormant) will absolutely not prescribe any type of fertility medication to a patient that is NOT MARRIED. As mad as I was I accepted it, but if that was the case, why was I not told that at my first appointment when I made it clear my primary concern was my infertilety and wanting to conceive? Why was I brought in for 2 additional appointments? Why did they use me just to make money without actually plan on helping me? NONE of this is noted in my medical history on paper. And from my point I made in the beginning, there are NO NOTES WHATSOEVER from the first 2 appointments, which makes me believe that they are just covering themselves. All it says is that "patient states she would like to see someone about getting pregnant." And then nothing else! Why not note the entire conversation? Why not say that you told me that I needed to be married before having a baby? Could it possibly be because she knew that was WRONG? And then covered it up by not adding it into the notes."
"Dorman is amazing but now she is only is Fisher Titus Hospital, for deliveries. Now the main doctor is Kruse an she is horrible in my opinion an others I have heard from. For me she scheduled an appointment with Akron children’s hospital. She didn’t even inform me about this appointment. I found about about it a day before. Akron called an informed me. Also she didn’t believe my nurse at the hospital that I was have contractions an tried to tell me I didn’t have a uti even though the hospital sent the records over to them. An I had to suffer with a uti for two weeks because she wouldn’t give me medicine or believe records! I see Stephanie now an she is amazing an listen well an is understanding. Just like how Dorman treated her patients. An Heather is amazing to an talks to like a person. She helped me with my fear of needles. I think this place is amazing except for Kruse."
"She delivered my little guy and will be delivering this one too!! She's amazing and beyond compassionate and encouraging! Especially when you need it the most! She's professional and when you're in her care, you just feel so taken care of and have nothing to worry about! I highly recommend Dr. Dorman! :)"
"Kind, caring staff"
"I would not recommend anyone going to her office! I was billed for 4-6 office visits when I had only 2 after I left their office. That bill was for $932 before insurance and $55.10 after insurance paid. I called Anthem BCBS about this bill and it took Dorman's office almost 2 months to do the request for a billing review. I just finally got the corrected bill today...I owe her office $50 not $550.10. I was over billed by $500.10 by her office and my insurance was over billed by $684! The bill should have only been $248 not $932! I hope she enjoys owing Anthem BCBS money! It makes me wonder though, if her office over bills people with private insurance THAT severely then what about people who have medicare/medicaid who never see a bill?"
